You need a part two: the person who sends everything back, the food snob; the vegan/vegetarian gluten free lactose free customer. The waitress who completely ignores you and runs the other way when you try to catch her eye for something you need (like a fork)...The snobby waiter who practically seats you in the kitchen because you aren't dressed properly or have children in tow... Sorry, I eat out alot.

@@arieluv615 No big deal to take advantage of a discount but in my experience as a server, most folks who are looking for a deal are often times really bad tippers on top of it. Good on you for trying to still tip well. The other annoyance of mine is that, depending on how much of a deal the customer receives, it can definitely result in a lower tip in the end since most often tips are calculated on a percentage of the overall total. This isn't always a big deal for me but when I've already provided a deal or other discount only to receive a 10% or less tip, I'm a bit irked.

The server who is passive aggressive about not getting tipped. The bartender who is slightly tipsy. The server who talks smack about rude customers in Spanish/Portuguese to the back of house. The server that convinces cringy frat boys that they have a chance in order to get a tip. May or may not be speaking from experience here… 😂

Mind you, I was a cashier- the Panera bread I worked at was so high volume the health department wouldn’t allow us to give out real silverware (had to be plastic) unless we made it a full service restaurant (with waiters and the like). It was pretty much always slammed. Anyway, this skank tries to actually bully me into doing it, total Karen “the Other people will Do it for Me, blah blah blah” she stood there ranting meanwhile more and more pissed off hungry people lined up behind her. I offered her a knife to do it her self- but no, she wanted me to get off the register to scoop the bread out of her bagel. Finally I just asked her to please step aside and began taking other peoples orders. Bitch tried to get me fired. I wasn’t. The entitlement of some people.

And 2, when working at a Mexican restaurant, the grown up who comes in fully knowing what type of food we have and will literally ask me why they can't have a hamburger off the kids menu. Ugh! Oh, I lied, and 1 more. That person who runs you back and forth because they just can't ask for everything they need all at once. They will ask for something different each time you bring them the previous thing they asked for and then they will throw down $1.60 at the table for a tip. These are the reasons I'm no longer a waitress. Remember people, they are SERVERS, not SERVANTS!
