Another great video!! The chain with clips on both ends was used "back in the day" to hold your cardigan sweaters on. Clip each side at the neck and it kept you properly covered!!

Amber, that little chain with the clasp on each end is from the 1950-60's. It was used to hold a Cardigan Sweater together when worn. I wish that I still had the 4 that I had when I was a teen. Luv: GRAM in TX.

From some of the brands you are finding, I'm guessing this person spent time in Europe. Keds is a brand that was around when I was a kid. I'm 60 now so that tells you how old they are. Also living in Canada we are heavily influenced by the UK. I think Brooks is another one. Also Harrod's is a high end store in London. Think Princess Diana. Her boyfriend, at the time of her death, was the son of the owner of Harrod's. Pretty sure his name was Dodi El Fayed.

I'm not sure if you guys found out about the difference between bangles and bracelets ? I asked my sister who was a jeweller for awhile and she told me that bangles are the full circle with no opening, and bracelets have an opening and closing latch. Hope this helps. Love you guys. The wooden box holding the jewelry at towards the end is actually a sewing box! The middle is deep and doesnt open, btw, just the sides accordion open. I have two, worth about 60 on ebay. And the small Silver pocket watch if it's upside down, so you look at it while wearing it, would be great for nurses checking heart beats!

The chain with the clamps that you found in the jewelry box is what you use when you want to drape your sweaters around your shoulders and use those clamps so it doesn't fall off. You clasp it in the front.

So we don't have to wear big mumuu's that leave us no figure. They are made with pearls, rhinestones, lace etc...cincher clips
