He had not even gone out with his girlfriend that long, it was LESS than 6 months. Jed TOLD her he was going on the show. Common sense would tell a person that if your partner is on a dating show, that things may not go well. If his ex girlfriend loved him so much, she would have not gone to the media with her victim story. And if Hannah loved him enough to marry him, she would have given him a chance to make it up to her. Jed had sincere feelings for Hannah. Hannah was pretending she wanted a husband. The truth, Hannah has NO IDEA what or who she wants in life.

I understand you are his friend but as his friend you should be able to let him know that you still love and support him but he should have been honest about the relationship he still had. Hannah did nothing wrong by breaking off the engagement. She decided that she didn’t have all of the facts to make a decision from the jump. I personally would have done the same thing had I been her. I don’t think Jed is a bad person, I personally think he made a bad judgement call when not giving her all of the info. I also saw the interview with the girl he was dating and she didn’t deserve that. I don’t think she was wrong in coming out with it. If he had a phone conversation with her then why bother texting her when he got off of the plane and text her that he loved her. He was dishonest and misrepresented and down played their commitment to one another. I don’t think Jed is ready yet for marriage and his family even stated that during their hometown date. I think you are a wonderful friend to him and I see your passion in wanting to defend him, but you can still be a good friend and let him know that his mistake was not right. It’s not about everyone’s mistake or comparing them, it’s about his mistake and as a friend helping him through it. I also don’t think Jed was completely upfront with you about his relationship with his previous girlfriend.

I wouldn't call Jed remorseful, when he's the guy who's buddies had a hate watch party of After the Final Rose where they said he was "free" of Hannah. Jed minimized his RELATIONSHIP with Haley as "hanging out." If Haley had no spoken up, Jed would still be engaged to Hannah. Until someone called him out, he was completely lying to Hannah & America. Do not call him a good guy.

Two things. Is it possible Jed's relationship with Hannah didn't go anywhere because you two are meant to be together? And two, according to the placement of the planets in Jed's astrological chart he has a lying aspect he is learning from, so anyone that has a relationship with him needs to be aware of that and maybe most importantly Jed needs to know that about himself. A lot of politicians have that aspect in their charts. Just saying.

I just wanted to say that I have a lot of grace for Jed. He isn’t perfect but he’s doing his best and he’s genuinely sorry. Jed, Hannah is reacting out of hurt and fear now too. She’s pushing you away because she doesn’t know if she could trust you and she’s so afraid of giving her heart. But I really encourage you to pursue her. If she’s your person, she obviously still has feelings for you too. Yeah, after mistakes, we feel differently. But that doesn’t mean it wasn’t there. If she got ENGAGED to you, she definitely believes in you. She knows you’re in there. Go for it. Like how you did when you played guitar outside her window. Just pursue her with everything that you have. Show her your humility and your fight. Give it everything that you have. Hannah has a great heart I’m 100% confident she will open up to you again. You can see and hear his love for her in his interviews.
