Jedd Hughes - Five Watt World/Barber Plus pedal

I love how compressors and overdrives work together. Comp before drive can yield singing sustain without having to use drive/gain to do the work. This allows you to have the freedom to use as little drive (or as much) as you want purely for tonal/color reasons rather than depending on it to provide sustain. Comp after overdrive is kinda like hearing your rig at the desk rather than in the room. It tames the gnarly top end and refines the signal to sit where you want it. Both are great and useful options imho.

David Barber makes killer drive pedals! I have his Tone Pump EQ. It’s kind of like a Nobels but with more mid range. The mids sit very naturally.

Mate Im not sure to be honest, the E/B saddle is compensated and so is the D/G…Im always futzin with saddles…I always end up using Brass
