I think I thought that the pieces would Velcro on somehow but yeah, magnets would be the way to go with this guy. I have this one on order and do have the reissue MK V that I have yet to unbox. Thanks Ryan!

Great review! Any chance of a short, showing the compatibility between the the head sculpts, in the event a collector wanted to use the new head/neck with the Diecast MKV?

This version of Iron Man looks fantastic. The head sculpt looks better than the prototype -- especially the sculpted hair. I'm hoping the suit will hold up over time. Considering all the options, it looks like a well engineered figure. This will definitely stand out in the collection. Thank you for a very comprehensive review of the figure.

Is OK if the pegs are not connected. Geeez. Really the theme of the suit is he's suiting up. This is probably the ultimate purpose for the entire hobby is to pose it and forget it. Also if the race suit gets a little messed up who cares. It was literally messed up in the movie when we actually got a chance to see it. There is like only a few seconds of it not "battle damaged".

Great looking piece and nice reviews. Although I highly doubt the purpose of that transforming suit case was to have Tony bent over pulling on it. I personally see these as display pieces, set em’ up nicely and enjoy the view on display.

I never repose my figures. I find one perfect pose and leave the figure be. I had a great time putting the armor together. Have no complaints about the sturdiness of the figure. Everything clicks in place. The magnets tend to stick out like a sore thumb or fall off. The figure is awesome! I don't want a normal Mark V. Don't even like it.

Very encouraging to hear! I too pose them once and leave them be. It seems criminal to not display him with all that armor. So you were able to get all the pegs to snap into place with no issues?

@@someguy520 yes, everything was ok, I only didn't like the lower leg armor, it took me more time to place it so that it doesn't interfere with the shoes. The suit isn't bunched up (it's very thick, not like Spidey figures), or anything like that, Jedha tried to stretch it and created more issues. Helmet also took some time to fasten, I recommend assembling it first, understand at what angle it should be fastened, then take it apart and put it on the figure. It takes time and care to assemble this figure, but I had a great time doing that. For me not having magnets is ok because I can imagine them sticking out - the whole suit covered in round things, yuck. I didn't need a screwdriver for the shoulder parts, everything fastened just fine, but again, it took a few minutes to find the corresponding holes. For the arms, I had to press with quite a lot of force before I heard a click signalling everything fastened, and nothing broke, contrary to the reviews. I also like the new hand pegs.

Nice piece. Alot to work with. Shame like say it’s all plastic and fragile, hope people don’t break theirs. Magnets would been good to. Thanks for taking your time like that showing off each piece and how it works. Was a lot to go over. Not your typical hot toys figure accessory.

Honestly I would prefer it if it had less stuff, they should sell more versions for cheaper with less accessories, I would buy him in his race suit without the rest but with the car helmet, or I would buy him with his suit already on him. I wouldn't want this. personally with the cost of these things I'm holding out to see if they do one of his first flight test when he had the slicked back hair and the vest on, thats what I want

@Jedha Patrol - Nope...Iron Man 3 WAS THE WORST film. One of the reasons, in my opinion, is the fact that they had a FAKE Mandarin in the movie, which made me really unhappy.
