It's funny that all they had to do was remove that plastic parts that they had with the first one and it probably would have sold a lot more but still this one that they have created is a very nice piece not for me but definitely great for an Ironman collector

Here is when a complaint about customs is valid…My second ever hot toys figure (Iron man Mk42) was inspected by customs and they left dark skid marks all over the figure. Some attachable pieces have been missing magnets. If customs would take care in handling this expensive merchandise I wouldn’t give a shit, but it doesn’t seem like it’s the case unfortunately.

I want hot toys to do more with this line. I’d love to see a comic cap, Spider-Man, hulk, wolverine, black widow, wasp, etc. in think the market is definitely there and these would definitely sell

The very first superhero figure I bought was a plastic Iron Man figurine that looked exactly like this... except half the size. I fell in love with Iron Man just based on the toy. When I saw this from Hot Toys.... it took me back. I thought it was just a prototype that hadn't officially been signed off on until your video today. Congratulations. This is the iconic Iron Man, as far as I'm concerned.

I'll be honest and say I've had nothing but terrible service from Pop Collectables but asking for a full refund because the box for the box for the box has been opened is pretty dumb lol. In any case, we need more full comic accurate figures! I think it looks really nice.

Oh My God!!! The box art is amazing! The figure is awesome! This is e exactly what I wanted for a comic book version from the 70s! I can't wait to get this in my collection! Hot Toys needs to make Cap, Green Lantern and Flash comic book version like this! Thanks Ryan for the review!

Great review, just unboxed mine and like you I’m a little frustrated, I want him holding the helmet but can’t disconnect the head sculpt, iv ended up using glue dots (easy to remove) on the inside pieces of the helmet to try and form a workable solution. Please let me know if you figure it out!

The head sculpt looks like it's from the 60s, in fact this looks like Gene Colan's art brought to life. Funny that they reused the arms and legs without the horrible clear parts!

Wow - seriously how did hot toys screw this one up? First of all he's over 12 in tall meaning he would stand like 6'5" . Even though Tony Stark is supposed to be like 5'10". But they do that with all of the movie Iron Man's even though Robert Downey Jr is only like 5'7". So I guess that's forgivable just because they're idiots. But how did they screw this head sculpt up? Why did they add all of those panel marks? Why is the helmet so small that if you simply sit the head next to either of the helmet sculpts there was no physical way that head could fit in that helmet? Why are his eye slits light instead of black? Why aren't the pegs on the chest above and next to either side of the uni-beam in the middle? Why is he so skinny? He is supposed to be a man in armor--he would have to weigh 160 to have arms that thin.. This is a mess.. All they had to do was pick up any Marvel Legends classic Iron Man and just do that. And they completely screwed it up. This figure is a absolute, absolute disappointment. I thought that the other classic ones were bad but this one is basically the same thing just with a different paint Scheme and less accessories. Why doesn't this one have the same suitcase as the other classic one with all the little Holograms and stuff inside of it? I get it doesn't come with the stand but they had to get rid of the Holograms as well? Why are the skates blue? Why can't you detach the beam from the hand? Why no classic blast effects? This is a massive, massive disappointment from Hot Toys. And they just seem to keep crapping them out. I was actually looking forward to this one. But I'm really going to have to pass on this one. I hope I can cancel my pre-order. What a disappointment.
