Listening to this while studying feels like walking in the steps of the ancient masters and discovering their knowledge one step at a time. EDIT : With the crescendo at the end, it makes the whole thing sounds like a lone Jedi meditating alone on the surface of a forsaken world, waiting for an unknown enemy, before feeling it arriving in the distance. The Jedi then rise to its feet, breathing slowly, calmly watching as its impending doom marches toward it. The Jedi's life and lessons run across its peaceful mind as its lightsaber ignites and the battle begins, the chaos ensuing clashing with the serenity of its soul.

I believe Padme's Rumination's scene, is the most deep mystic scene played in both precuels and originals. Padme's Ruminations is about the display of the power of love. Its all about their strong conection wich was the strongest of the entire saga at its moment. They could feel each other in a unspeakable way. There was only Love. That's the Power.
@nestlawatr56433 жыл бұрын
that specific scene is actually about anakin making his final decision to turn to the dark side, in relation to saving padme. the voices you hear signifies padme’s cries for help but not the help anakin feels he can give. padme wants love, anakin wants her to live for his own benefit. hence making his turn more convincing. anakin is selfish at heart, which is the entire reason he wanted to save padme, because he “cant live without her”. so i wouldn’t say padmes ruminations is very love like haha

@@nestlawatr5643 You have a really good point. From this view, Anakin overlook his own prowness in a narcisistic way. So this raise the question: does he really love her? Or, does he only love himself, or the idea of loving her? What does films and series tell us about it?

Thank you! So rarely do I find someone else who appreciates that scene. Padmé's Ruminations is my favorite song in the saga.
@TsukiNaito12 жыл бұрын
@@zegura86 I think the saga as a whole would tell us that he truly loved her. George is adamant both in his writing of the films and in interviews that Anakin is a good person at his core. At one point he said something to the affect of "a good person can do bad things." Anakin acted stupidly and selfishly when he turned to the dark side and, yes, he became enthralled with seeking power, but his final sacrifice to save his son shows that in the end he is most powerfully driven by his love. Selfishness and greed would have had him let Palpatine kill Luke, because that would have preserved himself and his position of power. But clearly, love was the bigger driver for him.

7:10 You ever hear the tragedy... of Darth Plagueis The Wise? I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith Legend. Darth Plagueis, was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise... he could use the Force to influence the Midichlorians to create... life. He had such a knowledge of the Dark Side, he could even keep... the ones he cared about... from dying.
@sobreaver4 жыл бұрын
What is wise in not dying ? Everybody dies in some way or another through their lives, mentally (the child, the adolescent, the adult..) and eventually physically. It is an important part of regeneration. Even stars die. The highly egoistical hubris that cares only for themselves would prevent such growth in others only for their own fears of facing life and death as it is. We weren't, then we were, and we shall not be again. There is no winning in the cycles of life and death, only learning. And the wisdom shall endure through the rivers of time. Life and death are sacred to one another, listen to the wisdom of silence. PS : Purely from a story point of view, Plagueis is not around anymore and not his wisdom or his power over life and death saved him. There is more to this world than what your philosophy allows you to dream of.

I always have such a difficult time with meditation. This is wonderful. I can focus on my breathing and feel into a gentle rhythm with my mind and body instead of fighting it. The soft, gentle music helps to focus my mind and keeps me from wandering too much. I've lost so much time in meditation thanks to this. So calming and great for getting ready to sleep.
