I've noticed that it randomly treats the fore stock as being mid pump anytime you let go and grab hold. No idea what's causing it, but it's cost me a lot of health and several runs.

I need to look up two things: how to rack a shotgun with one hand (it doesn't seem to work as expected) and how to climb up a ladder with one hand without falling down quickly...

With your hand on the pump, hold that trigger in and throw your hand upward to open the breach, and downward to close it. For ladders, it just takes some practice with flinging yourself up. I also play on Playful Gravity so there is a bit more room for error.

how do you climb ladders so effortlessly (2:34)? i've tried the same motion before and slam my head into the wall like a dunce. are your gravity settings different from the default?

Ah, that ladder pop! I am on default gravity (should be playful by default) but it takes a bit of practice to do correctly. Also, what locomotion method do you use? I am curious if different methods treat the player's gravity differently for that maneuver.

You can load any mag with loose ammo, but only some guns let you load the detachable mags while they're still in the gun. However, you cannot load belt boxes without an ammo spawner, though those are exceptionally rare in Take and Hold.

Sadly VR is very taxing on a PC. Always suggest people people put in the time and effort to research, buy the right parts, and build yourself a desktop. It's extremely rewarding and less expensive than buying a pre-built PC

In case you don't know still, grab a cartridge and hold down on your touchpad (if you're using Vive wands/Index knuckles) you'll "palm" any cartridges of the same type and can use it to store lots more ammo, reload quickly, etc.

If you've got a valve Index you can have sausage fingers, but it's more of a joke than actual hands. Last I checked, Anton wasn't planning on adding hands. Theres a TON of things to work around even if he wanted to add them on a technical level.

Slugs don't take down hardened nodes very well

Slugs are great on shotguns you mount optics to, not so much when you only have iron sights. Shotgun irons are typically only intended for use with shot shells (ie. birdshot or buckshot) and so are quite hard to use accurately when you actually need precision. They get even worse when you need to be able to reliably snap off shots without taking any time to actually aim, especially since they get stopped dead by even basic clothes without dealing any damage.

I actually have a loadout request I'd like you to complete a T&H with. Five-seveN with a suppressor and a reflex sight on it. And one of the two: Vector or Honey badger. These two will remain unattached up unless you roll an attachment you can put on them. Limited ammo but with heavy emphasis on pistol ammo. One hit KO and max difficulty. Edit: Oh and of course you're not allowed ot have any other weapon. Rolled or found.
