Back in episode 4 you saw us start fitting out the outside of the van with epic gear such as winch bumper, HD rear bumper etc.. This time we get the roof rack back on as well as a special solar set up, rock sliders, side ladder, side storage solutions etc.

Van build looking good Jed 👌 I fitted rubber bushes on my solar panel too - great addition to reduce road vibration and extend the lifespan of the panels

What I've done in the past is to cut a slot in the bolt to put a screwdriver in to stop it spinning when putting the nut on .

Really like the items you have engineered for the Westy. I especially like the storage spot for the table. Think I might use that on my Ford E250 camper van I am trying to build out.

So basically never park at camp front towards south, to make at least slight use of the solar panel tilting mechanism.

The roof lifts up so facing north can be good but it doesn’t really matter with this mounting system.
