But if u all the students file petitions the more the online petitions the more the chance of they to consider......This is not for me... we are complaining to the justice because we lost trust to the IITs and the india's most prestigious exam jee advanced and especially THEY VIOLATED ARTICLE 16 AND 19 OF THE INDIAN CONSTITUTION . If we can't trust official press releases then how can we said they they won't reduce the number of attempts from the existing Two to One. If we don't react the authorities will continue their unfairness and illegal activities in upcoming years and that will be a great Loss for all students including 1st, 2nd and 3rd year droppers and non dropper candidates 🙏❤️ please everybody take this in serious this is our student's valuable future.....and they are playing with our future...... Recently on 7 Nov SUPREME COURT OF INDIA has passed a verdict that , Game Rules can't be changed midway . This was regarding recruitment in public sector , we can challenge this descision of jee advanced on basis of this . But I don't know how to do that , anyone whose parents a financially stable and have connections please lodge a PIL .

On 5th November 2024, IIT-Kanpur, the organizing institute for JEE Advanced 2025, announced a major change in the eligibility criteria. They stated that JEE aspirants could now attempt JEE Advanced three times in three consecutive years instead of the previous limit of two attempts. This decision brought immense hope to many students who had exhausted their two attempts but still aspired to clear JEE Advanced and secure admission into IITs. However, just 13 days later, on 18th November 2024, IIT-Kanpur released a press statement rescinding the new eligibility criteria and restoring the previous rule of only two attempts. This abrupt reversal has caused immense distress among aspirants. Many students had dropped out of NITs, Tier-2, and Tier-3 colleges with the hope of making their final attempt under the newly announced policy. Some had even registered for JEE Mains 2025 (scheduled in January) based on this new rule. The consequences of this sudden rollback are devastating: Mental Health Impact: JEE is already one of the most mentally challenging exams in the world. This unexpected policy flip-flop has further worsened the mental health of students. Aspirants who had pinned their hopes on this extra attempt now feel hopeless and betrayed. Academic Disruption: Many students sacrificed their existing college opportunities, including NITs, thinking they would have one last shot at IITs. Dropping out of college for a year based on a publicly announced policy only to find it revoked is deeply unfair. Financial Strain: Dropping out and preparing for competitive exams involves financial costs, which some families are now questioning given this policy reversal. This raises important questions about accountability: Is it lawful for IIT-Kanpur to announce such a significant policy change, allow students to make life-altering decisions, and then revoke it within such a short time frame? Can affected students seek legal recourse or demand IIT-Kanpur honor its initial announcement for this year? What measures can be taken to ensure institutions like IITs do not act in a way that jeopardizes the careers and mental well-being of students? This sudden reversal by JAB mirrors a recent Supreme Court case where changing eligibility criteria after announcement was deemed unfair, violating Articles 14 and 16 of the Constitution. JAB’s decision to first allow three attempts and then revoke it in such a short time is arbitrary and unfair. Eligibility criteria shouldn’t be altered mid-cycle, especially when students have already made life-changing decisions based on the earlier announcement. We, as part of the JEE community, feel this sudden policy reversal is not only unexpected but also unethical given the stakes involved. Everybody file online petition to the supreme court of india ,the online petition is free of cost. I filed an online petition but individual online petition they will not consider. But if u all the students file petitions the more the online petitions the more the chance of they to consider......This is not for me... we are complaining to the justice because we lost trust to the IITs and the india's most prestigious exam jee advanced and especially THEY VIOLATED ARTICLE 16 AND 19 OF THE INDIAN CONSTITUTION . If we can't trust official press releases then how can we said they they won't reduce the number of attempts from the existing Two to One. If we don't react the authorities will continue their unfairness and illegal activities in upcoming years and that will be a great Loss for all students including 1st, 2nd and 3rd year droppers and non dropper candidates 🙏❤️ please everybody take this in serious this is our student's valuable future.....and they are playing with our future...... we can definitely fight against JAB in supreme court with valid reasons on their latest decision of reducing the third attempt this year, in this latest supreme court verdict given the former CJI of India (DY Chandrachud) and bench of some other judges passed the law in any public sector recruitment, the rules and the eligibility criteria can't be changed midway of the recruitment process and process is assumed to be started once the press release for that is released. they said "rules of the game can't be changed midway" They can remove this third attempt from next year but not this year because the game was already started on 5th Nov, 2024 when the press release from jee advanced website came out ... So this year they will have to allow the second droppers in jee advanced 2025 acc. to the verdict of the supreme court Please Sir, I am requesting you to arrange an advocate....We will fight against JAB.🙏🙏🙏
