For Core department things is different no company is ready to hire a fresher even if he is skilled with some additional courses,lucky guy may get placed in campus most of the case may fail,demand is low, supply is high ,my suggestion to future Engineers ,if your choosing a core branch you have to be patient and keep trying for your firstjob, don't compare your package with IT guys,IT is totally different from core,if you're really passionate about core branch then only pick.

It's true, no additional courses can help one gain skills in core departments or give real time experience, so if one is interested in getting into a core company he/ she should opt for internships, apprenticeships, traineeships or a job even if the pay is low.

After pursuing BCom you can pursue professional courses like CA, CS, CMA, CFA, FRM, etc. Also you can pursue PGDM/ MBA from a top b-school like IIM's, FMS, XLRI, JBIMS, NMIMS, SPJIMR, etc.

Im ashamed to say that I have done SELF FINANCE COURSE ma applied history at loyola college,Chennai . Im unable to find a job after my post-graduation and my whole life spoiled and I'm experiencing unemployment in my life.I started to hate my education and unemployment. Im advising everyone not to study ma applied history at loyola college and waste your hard earned money and waste your children's future.

If you are interested in teaching school students you have to pursue BA in Language (as per the availability as a subject in schools)/ BSc in Physics/ Chemistry/ Botany/ Zoology/ Biology/ Mathematics/ and take up B.Ed at the same subject as that of your BA/ BSc. In case you are interested in teaching college students you have to pursue UG and PG courses in a subject of your choice and clear NET/ SLET exams, you can also pursue PhD instead of clearing NET/ SLET.
