Honestly no idea why they buffed the Beetle spell so hard. It was already very nice for absorbing scam or shields in endgame, but now it does that twice as well as having the huge buff when you are playing a beetle comp

I agree almost 100% with everything I’ve heard. Telescope is definitely a good bit better than rolling most of the time if you’re looking for something specific. Eyes is insanely strong. Definitely S tier. Yes the 6 cost sucks sometimes when you roll into it and have to sell off or wait until next turn… but if you think about it.. you end up spending WAYYY more than 6 gold rolling, and then buying the units. For each card in your comp you are trying to golden you could easily end up spending 30 gold each before goldening. I think wisdom ball is overall above average. I think you’re right in that if you’re looking for direction it’s not super useful, most the time you’ll get some random junk… but it you asked me what you rather spend 5 gold on (and I’m not already winning) 5 regular rolls, or two wisdom ball rolls, I’d say they are about even. There are definitely some instances where i avoid it, and some I snap buy. Just a vibe thing:

Feels like a lot of spells lose value because they're otherwise attached to the battlecry of a minion body, and Brann multiplying that battlecry is far more valuable than what would otherwise be a fine spell in a no Brann world.

Why do you play Duos with randoms? Most of them have no idea how to play and just hyperfocus on one comp. I once queued into Duos with random and played with a guy that bought every beetle card and ran double brann

Can you make a video on how minion pool work and if some hero powers can defy it? Like does Ysera pull from the pool or not? Or like Zephrys if you would empty a minions pool but could theoretical make a tripple with hero power? stuff that create a copy and so on?

If there was a hero that had 12 armour & the hero power - 0 mana "skip each turn. spend all your gold on 'careful investment' spells. If you buy anything from the tavern, this hero power cannot be used for the rest of the game." How many turns would you spend using the hero power before you started playing?

I've probably played Wisdomball 4 or 5 times and it always rolled me into a shop full of the same unit that has nothing to do with my comp, or utility cards.... good card but trash with my RNG lol.

Every once in a while you will hit an absolute god tier wisdom ball. One time it rolled me two hoggers, two Charlie’s, and a drakari. Which allowed me to triple all 3 of those units and I had some extra’s. It was freaking glorious. the icing on the cake was I discovered another hogger, and ANOTHER Charlie out of the 3 rewards. So it ended up netting me 9 total cards i desperately needed. 😂

One thing you might want to consider for vids. (im not a youtuber this might be stupid); read what the card is and not just the name of the card. I am normally listening to your vids and not watching. I dont think ive ever looked at the names of what the cards are. Itll also boost vid length

I buy oil asap. It helps scale turns. And if you get 2 or more early you will accelerate into 6 tier so much smoother and with extra ease

Is there some logic to how wisdom ball works? Ive played it with 0 undeads (or amalgams) on my board and it offered me a full shop of t1 bones. It only feels like it does something 10% of the rolls.

There are a set number of outcomes, e.g. a board with 7 copies of a minion, tavern full of spells, tavern full of tier 6 minions, tavern full of your most common minion type, etc. you got that roll because it was the 7 copies of a random unit, not because of anything undead related

5:30 The opinion on this is backwards. Its not a card you use with intention to be behind others, its a card for those leading to buildup the economy not only paying for itself in 3 turns but also allowing plays that otherwise would be locked to some.

need 4 turns for it to actually benefit you and that's a long time, at high MMR that's like a third of the game, and you should usually take damage on those turns because you're behind

Echoing Roar is definitely in "Ok" tier. It's the centerpiece to an entire build and one of the stronger spells, especially in early game.

Is new Hero Power spell really S tier? I rarely buy it because it rarely makes a difference. For those 3 gold I could buy a minion or roll 3 times to look for one. Yeah, it feels good replace a dead hero power for another one, but still 3 gold is a lot unless you're playing apm comp

It's made a difference a few times for me. Brukan to pop enemy Mech shields, George or Lich King to help keep a key minion like Titus on board, Reno for a free Golden. It can give you trash but so can 3 rolls.

If you have enough money and a dead HP (which is pretty common) then yeah it's very strong. Some hero powers are as good as +1 unit (like Alakir for a free shield, or Lich King on a leeroy) and even if you get nothing for endgame fights, it's rare you won't get 3 gold 'back' unless you whiff super hard.

If you have a useless hero power it's extremely worth, I would've put it in A tier though because you don't always have a useless hero power
