The last play at the end of the 2nd game was incredible. Not showing your hand for so many turns was genius

Hi Jeef! I just got into the game and I am a mediocre 5k MMR player. Your content's educational value is remarkable [and it's fun too! 🙂] and I really appreciate it when you talk through your thought process. Coupled with your video explanations of the vocabulary of what you are talking about (i.e. what's trash, utility, direction, how to level, etc.), your commentaries are fascinating. Your gameplay is really different from almost all of the other streamers with tacit knowledge who can't explain why they make specific decisions, whereas you can. After watching your streams I play BGs less like I am at the casino and more like an actual board game (I was an avid Munchkin player). You are a great teacher and I think you should be proud of helping so many people find the game more enjoyable. We all look forward to more of your streams and commentaries! 😊 I wish you and everyone in this comment section a great weekend!🕺

@jeef -- I agree with the above poster. I am also mediocre, but after starting to watch your videos and one other (heretic721) I have raised my MMR by about 1000, to around 6k now. Thank you for making these informative videos.

The game knowledge with Vardan stuff is insane. Knows everything about maximizing the value of a HP i don’t even pick usually

The commenter saying "Does he stop talking?" is the kind of person to ask a question and then ignore the answer. Thank you for your commentary, Jeef, some people listen to your content versus watching (work background) and it's educational.

Thank you so much for this and your part 2 video! You are really good at explaining your instincts, not just doing things "because it's correct". Helps us develop mental processes for decision making by learning from you instead of losing over and over to get to that same point. More of this please!
@JinnaiV28 ай бұрын
That was really good and helpful. Usually youtubers only upload highrolls and its hard to learn from those videos. Its great to learn how you can reach at least top 4 even with bad RNG as long as you know which plays to make

Pls do more of this kind of video (maybe into like a series). It’s really helpful to understand what goes on in a battleground pro’s head when making decisions.

At 1:00, if you buy one minion and freeze, the shop will refresh the one missing minion. Therefore your hero power will trigger for any random 1 star in the shop.

I allways think "wtf is he doing" and then I realize you're like 4k higher MMR than me, and it's most likely the other way around :D Most times you even explain, why my train of thought was bait in the aftermath. so tyvm jeefHS for giving me the chance to reflect in which spots im making mistakes.

your heropower just works, wenn the tavern is "refreshed", meaning less than the max amount of minions. So with warden u always have to buy out 2 minions from shop, bc u have one extra and you need to be less than normal shop size. starting on turn 3 u already had 4 inions

what are your tips for losing on a 33% 3 games in a row, with losing 6 previous 50 - 50 % ?
@jamesrymes56766 ай бұрын
I cannot play beast comps, set up taunt defense 50/50 (lose that) then need any other hit other than against Baron (doubles death rattle) with a chance of between 25 - 33% and EVERY SINGLE GAME i have decent hp i will get the hit that cost me the battle losing 15 hp which is enough to lose the game later. I am seriously starting to think the RNG is rigged via some bullshit spaghetti code. Had a gold banana slamma, baron, and 2 mech horse with reborn poison, reborn wolf and came 7th. With tumble disaster as quest via losing 3 games in a row with the worst possible outcome happening 3 games in a row. Below 0.01%. For reference I am not a bad play peak was 9000.

I first watched this from ixxdee perspective last night. And I remember the game clearly. I can tell you, while watching from ixxdee, I thought he will 100% win, and I'm so glad i found jeef perspective and how he slowly inch his way into victory without giving away his plan. No wonder he is 1st. His thought process etc was not something I expected and i don't think ixxdee expected the final play for scam. EVEN from the fact that he chose to put a 3/2 deathrattle on mogul to beat ixxdee by 6+6+1 (13) was genius.. Normally I would just put on something else to proc my reborn successfully. Thanks Jeef.

Regarding the explanation for not picking myrmidon, even though you're much more knowledgable than the rest, get into the habit of explaining the flip side of the choice as well and actually compare the two approaches, because imo that was a very close call since you're planning on endgame nagas and myrmidon synergizes pretty well with the current board. keep up the insane plays!
