I feel for the guy and can imagine how it goes over there. When my dear mother passed away over 9 months ago in Jeddah, KSA i can still recall their was nothing we as family had to do except get papers from Pakistani consulate and Regional police. From their onwards every thing was done by regional government and its bodies and there was no money spent whatsoever, none. It was a tough time but i was glad how things ran as they made it so easy for us.

Long time listener, first time writing a comment on this topic, as it is so true as to the expenses incurred after death. I am a Hindu living in Canada, and have a Christian wife whose mother died (my mother in law). It is good that she (my MIL) was somewhat well off as her husband who expired about 10 years ago had already got the burial plot alongside his (for her). The plot itself cost CAD$ 40,000..! And the funeral home expenses, and the procession etc. altogether cost them $100,000. So even death is big business here. People here make arrangements way early for their burial as the costs are rising everyday...!

Indeed a good initiative.. one must take cognizance of these matters. But thanks to almighty we have set up a mohalla committe and a large spread graveyard. They look after every aspect of death.We have not faced this problem till date. And Junaid Bhai you are an inspiration. Allah bless you.

Shia community me funeral se soem tk ghr me chola nh jalta .teen din khane pene ka intezam relatives and neighbors karte hain.and different occasions like chelum bursi me bhi relative fateha ka khana banane me help karte hain. or wadeye hussain jis me total shia graves Hain.charges bhi Kam Hain or ap check krain tamam facilities including solar systems and all graves are aligned.but in the end hum ko ek dosre ka ahsas karna chaiye.

Minorities are usually well organized everywhere because that's how they survive. I have been to highway Wala Shia graveyard. It was properly organized. Also I liked how Imam Bargahs have cold storage facility.I saw that in Ancholi wali masjid. Question : Sunniyoon ko daffan kernay detay Hain shia qabristan me ?
