Well not much to say. How can you go in fortes and mud/water with tiers for asphalt, with out at last Yokohama Geolander AT as most soft AT that exist + but good for all possible situations. Also not having at last 2 inch lift at 31 inch wheels with some kind of AT Tier, it’s pointless to even try to have a fun. And let’s not talk about winch, which is kind of recommended that at last 1 out of 3 have it mounted (can be in factory bumper). Also black 2.7 CRD have a problem with probably front drive shaft I believe factory kinetic one got broken. To have this Jeep done, you need at last: 1. Change Blend Doors on Aluminum - eliminate factory mistake 2. Change kinetic drive shaft on classic cross with SPICER original Jeep (its possible to import as used part from USA - it was just available on some USA Overland versions, and this makes ur front transmition immortal). 3. Panhard bushings ( deuter or super pro as more expensive ones ), all other bushings just normal ones from rubber (producent - BAW) 4. Lift Kit 2 inch - OME+ Bilstein suppression / wheels 31 inch, or 3.5 inch lift /32 inch wheels (clayton off road springs) + Bilstein suppression, and heavy crusier lift kit (Polish producent). Lift 3.5 will be like around 1.5k euro more expensive max. 5. Check - change Quadra lock if its broken ( usually front differential ), but in general both. 6. Engine check / water pump and other devices as starter, in CRD turbo compressor and flywheel ( this one usually make a problem and you can buy used from Mercedes, E, ML - the problem is that in 2002 Jeep refused, or stop to use problematic VM motor 3.1 and put in Mercedes 2.7 with gearbox and flywheel lie too low and doesn’t stick well, and also always start form same position and usually is broken in all Jeep WG 2.7 CRD. Also in CRD better be sure to make find good mechanic to make a hole with opening and closing option to make easy to service 5th injector because its too deep and request moving engine down which make service expensive, or simply make a hole. In CRD re-map engine in tuning garage on 200 hp and 480 nm of torque, which increase power and reduce fuel usage at factory wheels up to 1.5l of diesel, having in mind that 2 inch lift and 31 inch wheels will increase fuel usage for 1.5-2l this is making it back to factory fuel usage, and way much better to drive (2.7 get up on 200hp without any problem or fear to have a breakdown). 7. Change all liquids and filters. Include, gearbox, engine, differentials and reductor as as well as cooling after water pump change. It could come servo pump regeneration and so on. 8. Anti - corrosion protection 9. Optional Winch 10. Optional steel bumpers 11. Optional 2 din navigation Pioneer 1.5k-2k euro with mounting To assume the costs. From 1-8 is must have done, 9-11 just optional, who wants: 1. Buying good example of 2.7 will be like 5-7k euro, and 4.7HO 7-9k euro. 2. Service in Poland with parts and work in good garage that does Jeep with passion, include all normal exploitation service with things I count can cost from 3-4k euro depending of car condition. We count also blend doors, or front drive shaft. 3. Lift 2 with new rims and tiers like 3k euro, and lift 3.5 let’s say 4-5k euro. 5. At the end winch - decent one with mounting like 2.5k euro. 6. Steel bumpers to have a good ones it’s like 2-3k euro. So at the end we have around 13k for 2 inch - No winch and Pioneer as well as bumpers, but if we wish a bit more let’s say 15-17k euro. For 3.5 inch lift will be around 20k euro. If you don’t have this money and wish to spend it on this car, just don’t better buy it... It’s a waste of nerves and time as well as money. But if you invest in this car, you will have really great and amazing car for all conditions and very nice daily car. No matter if its 4.7 with Gas installation or 2.7 tuned up. I have 2.7 CRD and its my second 2.7 CRD (one limited and one overland), in a configuration 2 inch without steel bumpers, winch and new radio as Pioneer. Next step is winch and radio. Steel bumpers I’m going to skip, because I’m not some kind of heavy off roader. Greetings to everyone.
