Last night. Also removed the hard top. I don't even put the nuts (which you forgot to mention when removing the doors. Would be insanely difficult to remove with them in LoL) back in for the doors when I reinstall them because I take them off so often. Another pro tip for removing them (especially for the first time): use a penetrating lubricant (those doors can be REALLY stuck) like WD-40. Spray, open and close repeatedly, spray again and try and remove. Spray again ( both door hinge and body hinge) before installing them again and any time they get removed.

Best door accessory is the door pin guides... taking the doors off is easy, but getting them back on can be difficult. Trying to guide the doors back on to the hinges, while balancing their awkward weight takes some skill and practice. The pins make it a little easier.

I bought door hangers for my garage wall. That made all the difference! I grab the door handle and the bottom of the door. I lift and then hang on the wall. Setting the door down was the worst part of taking off the doors. This way the door is always at the right height.

That’s awesome! What type of door hanger?? I usually rest mine down but it’s a pain and sometimes scratches the bottom.

A dry wall carrier is way easier and only cost $15 at Home Depot. Takes a minute to remove my 2 doors.

Hello From Indiana! This question is about passenger front seat. I just bought a 17 winter addition 4 dr... question is does jeep offer a front passenger seat that can adjust like the drivers side? Thanks for the message! Congrats on your Jeep 👍🏼 my recommendations would be to change the seat entirely if it’s not comfortable for your son. The seat can easily be removed with 4 bolts and you can find so many replacement options online. Maybe need find a used drivers seat and put it in the passengers seats place. When I see that door flex from the suction it makes me cringe a little lol. How many uses before the door starts to deform a bit from the suction cups? I like the idea just seems like the outside of the door is going to take a beating from those 3 suction cups over and cover. I think it would probably be better structurally if the weight is supported from inside the window frame somehow

AdventureDex Just spoke with Clay And he has never heard of that either. I would imagine with the three large sections it would be an equal displacement of pressure throughout. So that should be good to go. But I do like the idea of that drywall carrier!

5:06, not sure if the woman use proper lifting technique remember it is essential to proper lifting technique to save your back especially if you frequently lift doors or if you have a manual laborer job. Get into a high squat position, make sure your back is straight, and lift with your legs as your coming up out of the high squat position!!!;)

At 4:19 after you removed the tool from the door it sure looks like it left a visible mark on the door.

Why? All you have to do is roll the window down and then reach inside with one arm and use the inside handle to lift the door straight up. You can just use your other hand on the mirror to adjust the angle of the door. I take my doors off all the time this thing is pointless, the door is designed so you don’t need anything else to remove it. The inside handle is perfectly placed to serve as a door removal handle the center of gravity is perfectly balanced. I have a 2 door so I can’t speak for the back doors, maybe they are not as well balanced?

Christ Almighty I could have had all four doors off and been down the road by the time anyone could use this to get one door off. That and I wouldn't have to worry about the suction cup breaking causing my door to fall to the ground. Just pick it up by the upper window frame like any other normal person would.

Thanks for the comment but that doesn’t mean this product isn’t useful for anyone.... there are plenty people that have trouble removing the doors. This just a tool to make it easier. @@adventuredex actually, yes and so does my 5' wife. Her 2018 JLU is rolling on 37's with a 3.5" lift. It's all about lifting with legs and placing in hangers. You gotta know...Jeepers are tough and resourceful. For that amount of money, plenty of things to upgrade, lol. Keep it up, channel is awesome. We can agree to disagree. Take care

This product is so freakin lame by the time you take all 4 doors with that thing that’s expensive I could have taken all the doors off reinstalled them and had a beer. AdventureDex you should buy some door hangers instead of putting them on the ground.I bought some on ebay and they work perfect.The nice thing about them is they go in the window track and wont ruin the rubber and can hold a house.These are what i bought for my JK www.ebay.com/itm/183169700618

i’m 6-1 and 250lbs and have no problem removing the doors also but i did purchase this to make it easier to put them back on, easier to line up the pins etc and does make it easier to place the doors on the ground....
