I would *_really like_* a small turbo diesel... it's all about the torque just above idle and my 2016 with the 3.6 just does not have it.

The 4.0 was the worst. From New, the valves ticked and the exhaust spewed black smoke. You know what the Dealer told me, Oh that's perfectly normal for the 4.0.

Yup.... Only 1 JEEP!!!! Till fiat came along. HEY JEEP......GET BACK TO BEING A JEEP, not a fiat. Besides my Mustang..... I've owned NOTHING but Jeeps since 1999. I love the 4 JEEPS I currently own AND loved the 3 I sold in the past.

Didn't look all that bare bones to me. Bare bones means only the essentials. There is a big market out there for a truly "bare bones" ¹/⁴ ton utility truck, like the old Willys .

@@rickbrown7287true story. There’s even a factory sticker saying doors and top are to keep the weather out. They are not meant to keep you in the vehicle or provide protection in an accident.

With this Jeep, how will they get around the DOT, with all there restrictions and the greenies at the EPA. Yep! It’s just a big joke on us off roaders. Ain’t going to happen, just another waste of time and money. Then folks ask why Chrysler is going broke. Here’s your reason.

Removable Doors and at least a soft top and spare tire would seem to be mandatory to be legal, but I like the concept. Looks a lot the Tar India version of a Jeep.

A lot of cars these days don't come with spare tires but a full size spare is a necessity on a jeep. I would think it would require head restraint to be legal.

If they're actually seriously thinking about doing something like this, they may have been thinking about it for maybe a few years. And if so, that may actually be why they sued mahindra for selling basically a CJ here in the states as a side by side with a turbo diesel engine.

Who do I give my money to, I want one, yesterday.....I'm not real thrilled about the pennistar V6, I have one in my Gladiator and there a little bit lacking. But in that little thing it might be plenty. I'd rather have their new straight six, A lot more torque and horsepower, it would turn that little Jeep into a rocket. Might even keep up with my hellcat😢😂

I'm ready for the game changer; road worthy everyday vehicle; just think of it, fun to drive and a price point you can't ignore. Please, please, don't add all of the electronic trash; put on only what it needs/regulations, and automatic. Tired of the over priced plastic doodads and computer chips that don't work. Want a turn key Jeep that takes a licking and keeps on ticking!!!

Prices will probably start at $60,000 and reliability will be the standard Jeep crap. I would like Jeep to produce a reliable and tough 2 and 4 door Wrangler with an engine putting out at least 350 hp that is around $30,000. No need to add any crap as most Jeep owners can handle that.

So "affordable" that it has no roof or doors. What do you do in the winter? How incredibly ignorant and insulting to your supposed target audience. If you want to corner the market, design a Jeep Wrangler with analog gauges? An engine with zero chips in it. An old school V6. Power steering, power breaks, An automatic or manual transmission. An old school Jeep Wrangler. Heck, use the same body style of a WW2 Jeep Willy...with a modern roll bar We're not talking rocket science. It has to have doors and either a soft or hard top roof. THINK PEOPLE!!!
