I feel your pain. I’m literally doing the exact same thing right now. Edit: after watching further into the video can I ask why you stripped the factory paint off the floor pans? Just cause you trust your sealer more?

the paint i'm using is much better than the factory paint. its very hard, paints over rust, and is very impact resistant. i use it on anything that will be exposed to moisture, road debris impact, etc. look up Chassis Saver made by Magnet Paints. it's awesome and will hold up much better, especially over the muffler where theres a lot of heat. i dont ever want to do this job again!

@@sgmaricelli5243 yep, you're right. they even smell the same. make sure to paint it on thin or it wont outgas and it will leave lots of bubbles in the finished paint. and DO NOT get it on your skin. it doesn't come off!
