@@TopDjir what drive mode are u using on the muddy hill? - 4LO or Part Time
@TopDjir5 жыл бұрын
@@mytravelguide3028 Most often 4LO if the terrain is hilly or there is some "obstacle". "On Road" 2wd, and when it's slippery, light snow, flat light Off Road Full Time. At least I used Part Time.

@@TopDjir can you link me where u got the low budget 2” lift? Also what tires do you have on it?
@TopDjir4 жыл бұрын
@@letshaveatalk3464 "home made" :) It was made about 10 years ago, plastics were placed under the springs / shock absorbers in the back... in the front my mechanic did something according to the pictures of how they do it in the USA. We made new bigger/stronger A-arm and bumpstopers.

Due to the sandy nature of the hill, success in the second task was completely dependent on the number of tries vehicles took prior to the attempt. The tires needed to find good grip without the frame/chassis bottoming out.

I personally like the Liberty the best but my opinion on all this is that the tires decide if you get up or not. If you got bad tires then your gonna have a bad time but if you have good tires then your gonna have a good time.

my opinion: 1. ground clearance, 2. tires, 3. diff locks, 4. engine ... (above all, driver experience) I’ve been driving a Libety for 8 years, but on the roads as well as Off Road, so I had to have a BF Goodrich All Terrain

You can buy 2 Libertys for the same amount of one Range Rober. Put 8 people on the Liberty's and transport them. You cannot OutJeep A Jeep. Imitators trying and failing at it since.. 1941.

This old generation Range Rover was the last when it comes to Off Road. Liberty in this video was mine at the time :)
