I got as far as taking apart the stereo down to the circuit board, but still need that piece.

Hello.I'm trying to fit a new single din radio to my 07 wrangler.the new radio comes with a harness and a seperate red wire to fit to the key ignition.the problem is I don't know which wire to splice and fit the loose red wire to and can't find any diagrams relating to this online.do you have any idea which colour wire is the right one?

+Xander Ortiz I didn't, but it my issues turned out to be two new faulty aux cables in a row. third aux cable was the charm. I never found any answer so I assume it would need to be soldered....
