The intake air temp sensor needs to be pushed in further. you can push it further with the green O ring still attached or remove it. Don't install it with a green o ring exposed.

A lot of people get codes when they push it in so the green ring is not exposed. That's why a lot of other CAI's as well always tell you to push it in till the green ring

Does the K&N system line up with any aftermarket snorkels?

How is that a cold air intake if the opening is under the hood? Does it work with a snorkel?

I get that the factory intake is pretty constricted, but isn't a kit like this inherently flawed since it pulls in hot air from inside the engine bay rather than cooler air through the grill at the front like the stock one? As such, how can this be considered a "cold air" intake?

I played with mine and instead of completely removing the air duct from the grill I trimmed it down and modified it, then put a hole in the k&N air box so that I could feed it colder air

I've seen the stated 12.50 horsepower at 4,630 RPM, Have you or anyone on here, noticed the power aside from the sound?

We have not dyno'd this ourselves so it's hard to tell! Hopefully someone can get you the answer you're looking for!

Yeah let's pull out the factory air tube that draws cold air into the factory air box... This makes no sense to install. It's a warm air intake. Might as well throw away $400.

True. If anything, all this kit does is increase air intake. It is by no means a "cold air intake."

@@jt8251 it doesn't even do that because the PCM controls your engine's air to fuel ratio. If there's more air coming in, it'll adjust and close the throttle body more to reduce air flow. These cold air intakes are a scam without an engine tune as well. The PCM is always going to learn and adjust over time, negating any effect of a cold air intake.
