For people watching: you don’t need to remove brake calipers. While it’s a bit more difficult by your self, the brake lines and brackets are plenty strong enough and mounted in such a way that when you rest the knuckle it doesn’t damage the line. Source: I’ve lowered about a dozen mopars to include durangos, chargers, jeeps. Only beneficial for time sake, definitely may give you more clearance but not impossible. In order to get the shock out you need to move the knuckle back towards the door to snake it out.

No no no Don’t remove caliper, take the bolt out that is holding the brake lines to the truck. Will give you plenty of slack in the brake line.

it should settle within a week, double check your ride again. i use to drop cars when i was younger and we didn't see nothing till after a week or two sometimes within couple days. you need some driving and braking to make the spring settle into its place. im not sure with trucks but check it out and let me know because i want to do this set up as well

You will get more accurate results in measurements (especially when comparing to other WK2's) measuring from wheel well opening to center of center cap that way tire size/air pressure etc. won't affect/influence the measurements.

It shouldnt, it only dropped it a couple inches, as long as you get the correct amount of drop hitch so the tongue sits closer to stock level.

i would get an alignment just to be sure. and since its not a crazy drop so you dont need adjustable arms or anything like that.

taking forever on the the first front one, total took like 7 hours. knowing what we know now prolly can do it in 3-4. and 2 ppl. you can do it with 1 person. jist gotta do the steps correct like i said with the brake caliper.

Rolando Robles thank you very much for the reply! Also, how did you manage to get the three bolts under the hood on the passenger side out with what I think is the negative cable over it? I can’t seem to get the bolts out holding in the negative cable to be able to remove the 3rd bolt that holds in the shock and spring.

Rolando Robles it also appears to be that the 3 bolts holding the shock and spring on the passenger side looks to be, bolt 1: easily accessible, bolt 2: is 1 of 2 bolts holding in the hanger piece for the hydraulic hood, bolt 3: under the black box thing held in by 2 bolts.

@@Uncbennn i dont remember having to mess with negative battery cables, boxes, or hood struts on the passenger size. from what i remember it was just 3 nuts. and its not my truck so i cant look under the hood. ill text my buddy and have him send me a pic and ill get back to you.

If you have a grand Cherokee, you can run 22x10.5's or 22x11's for a more aggressive look. The Grand Cherokees have a 5x127 or 5.5 bolt pattern as well. Happy shopping]
