Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Gets STUCK In The Snow

Can you get a Jeep Grand Cherokee STUCK in the snow? Yes. I recently purchased my new 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT and within a week we got 2 feet of snow in a blizzard. With the stock OEM tires and no real mods/modifications/upgrades to the car yet it didn't want to have fun in the snow. Snow mode worked decent I guess after the fact of being stuck and sitting on ice. Better luck next time...

Blizzak tires from Tire Rack on rims, I got some for my 2020 Volvo V60CC for $1400. It's great in snow now especially stopping and turning. I always turn off parking sensors in winter too. I occasionally hit the sport/ traction off so I can do fun donuts and drifting.

I think the height has more to do with you getting stuck than the tires, I have stock all season Pirellis on my High Altitude and I had little problems until I put it in 4 low then I cut through the snow with no problem 💪🏽 Jeeps are beasts!!!

Definitely! I think the only real issue was that under the tires became a sheet of ice instantly so it couldn’t grab on anything

I put a set of Falken Wildpeaks atw3 on my wife's GC never got stuck. Unfortunately SRT setup is not really made for deep snow. It's a performance vehicle. You can change the tires but other rims. Have a set of tires/rims for the winter and your good to go. Something to think about. Enjoy your SRT it's a lot of fun. 🐻🇺🇸

I had a SRT eight and when it was 5 inches of snow I had to leave work to go home before it got real bad outside all that power don’t mean nothing in the snow and at the time they did not make 20 inch snow tires for the jeep

Put it in mud mode and gun it 😊. Snow mode is really more for hard packed snow and ice, really limits the power

The Jeep GC will do just FINE ..... as long as you DON'T STOP !!!! But, your "inexperience" told you to Stop, then you HAD to gig out from under the Jeep .............. LEARN from that "lesson" !!
