Just got a c1015 on my 108k mile 2012 JK this morning. I'll start with the sensor, then if it comes back I'll do both hubs. Really great video, the split screen sections are awesome and the lighting is spot on to see everything. Many thanks!

Thanks! With a different Jeep, had one of the unit bearing bolts (with the 13mm 12 point head) snap as I was unbolting it. The bolt cavity in the knuckle was full of crud and something jammed up. Someone I know had a spare bolt, but for a D30 axle with smaller U-Joints. A bit of time to grind off the extra metal and success! Good luck with yours.

I have to change out ABS sensor, but it won't fit back down, but when I start to push it down the wheels won't turn, and sounds like it getting catch on the wheel barring gear... Please help

Did you compare the total depth of the sensor with the old one? That’s the only thing I can think of that would cause your issue.

can you put in the link for the teraflex bracket ? Thanks
@EricCantin4 ай бұрын
Here’s the part: teraflex.com/brake-line-anchor-kit-w-1-mounting-hole.html I now have the brake line placed between the coil and shock so the brake line won’t rub on the tire at full lock.

How did you figure out which was the faulty hub and sensor ?
@EricCantin3 ай бұрын
The stored error codes pointed me to the correct corner. Lately JScan is the tool I use to scan for error codes.

@@EricCantin can you put up the link for the jscan ? Thanks.

Have a look here: jscan.net Read it attentively as you also need an OBD2 Bluetooth dongle. They make suggestions.

I’m doing my right sensor this weekend. 2017. 113,000 miles. Hopefully not wheel bearing.

Good luck. I’ve had issues getting the sensor out of the unit bearing in one piece due to winter salt.

How many kilometers on the jeep? I'm starting to see a similar error I sadly didn't have an ABS capable reader so that's my next purchase.
@EricCantin2 жыл бұрын
It had over 200,000kms. Our other Wrangler is also over that mileage and needs front hub bearings (got the parts this week).

what impact model is the one you used friend

I forget which I had here, but I’ve converted all my power tools to Milwaukee. I really like the M12 Fuel Stubby (crazy compact power with the right battery), the M12 Fuel right angle impact, M18 Fuel Mid torque, M18 Fuel high torque with One Key. All are 1/2” since my impact sockets are all 1/2”. If I had to live with only one, I’d get the M18 Fuel mid torque.

Jeeps are the victim of shoddy design and workmanship. Its amazing how many problems a low mile Jeep often has. Planned Obsolescence. I have a 2018 Jeep. But i consider it junk compared to my Sienna with 300K miles on it. Toyota is still king.
