Jeep JKU 6.4 Engine Swap DIY (TCM Flashed, 8hp IN!!) (Video 2)

Here is VIDEO TWO ( Transmission prep and installation) our 6.4 V8 swap and 8hp swap series into Eriks 2008 Jeep Wrangler that is already sitting on tons and 40s. We are using a kit from Jeep Speed Shop and we are completing this in Eriks 2 car garage with basic garage tools. Stay tuned for more videos coming soon in this series! Video 3 will be the TCM and ECM wiring harness and a look at the Holley Sniper intake.

TORQUE SPECS:
Complete Valve Body to-Case 14Nm/10 ft-lb
TCM to valve body 10Nm/88in-lbs
Plastic Oil Pan to Case 10Nm/88 in-lb
fill plug 22ft/lbs
Bellhousing bolts 41ft/lbs -50ft/lbs (different sources)
Torque Converter to Flex Plate Bolt 31ft/lbs
Tcase to transmission nut 31ft/lbs
Starter 40ft/lbs
fill plug 22ft/lbs
correct 8hp70s are from a 2013-18 dodge ram 4x4. (be careful they also have 5 speeds in those years)
correct tcase 07-18 manual and 07-11 autos
Tap for oil cooler. Use a 3/4 16 tap

Well done fellas ! Be sure you rotate your track bar clamps so the bolts are on the lower side of your track bar . At full stuff they can contact the oil filter drip rail

Thank you! And yes I think certain track bars with the adjustment sleeve would Definitely hit the oil filter! Luckily mine and Eriks don't have the adjustment sleeve 🤙🤙 but still good info for those who do have that style track bar!
