What an adventure.. reminds me of a camping trip /off road adventure we had .. just a little splash in the creek in front of the camp site ,turned into , a truck barried to the frame in the creek and wouldnt run , to over heating my transmission and catching on fire , a bronco on 44's tied to the first truck sunken to the frame , another truck breaking a transmission , breaking 3 tow straps , 2 chains and 2 come alongs.. 8 hours later we got him out.. fun time .. to bad youtube wasnt a thing back then .. glad everyone made it out unharmed

Cool vid guys. Question, what ply are those tsl/sx? Interco is refusing to make the load C/6ply tires in the size I want(sam-93), but they have the 10 plys. I feel like they will be too stiff for a 2d Jeep. I just had to make 16.5 double beadlocks and paint myself in a corner on tire choice haha

I’m pretty sure they are like a 10-12 ply they stiff sidewall but we love them because they are wicked strong and you don’t blow inner beads because of tire flex, and they don’t hop because of how much belting is in them!! We freaking love them!!

Only real friends can jump on you with both feet when you’re down. Some of the best times I’ve had is when myself or someone else is broke and we’re just giving it to each other. On a sidenote you guys could benefit from some radios so there’s no confusion when talking to each other. GMRS walkie-talkies are pretty cheap

So I was curious as I am trying to work out the geometry on my front end. I am using same ford steering box as your jeep and because of this it looks like your track bar is located on inside of frame. So my question is due to the track bar being shorter than drag link are you experiencing alot of bumpsteer.

Not an ounce!! My track bar is barely shorter than the drag link, only a couple of inches, if you look at the mount on my axle for the track bar it’s clear over on the knuckle!! Hope this helps!!

It is NOT my intention to be perceived as one of these 'Know-It-All Armchair Off-Road Wannabes' - but I feel the need to share my thoughts on this subject: You guys really should consider investing in headsets so you can communicate with one another while towing disabled vehicles. Another option would be hands-free bluetooth from your cell-phones through the speakers in whatever stereo system you might have in either vehicle. ~ Now - I've never been off-roading EVER in a group, so it's nothing more than an observation, on my part. Another thought I've had is this - I've only been Subscribed to and watching your channel content for about maybe somewhere btwn 1-2 months now, but enjoy it as much as (and many times, more than) all the other off-road and off-road recovery channels on KZbin. Cayleb's enthusiasm and energy - from the beginning of each video to the end, hooks you in from the very first second and keeps you engaged throughout the entire video... Even with this video being just over 30 minutes long, I didn't find myself 'fast-forwarding' at any point. If I can word my thoughts correctly - The other channels I watch are interesting to me - not only because of their content, but because they are based in the state I live in. These channels are Matt's Off Road Recovery, Fab Rats, Robby Layton & trail mater - to name a few. Including YOUR channel among those, I now have a definite 'Top 5' that I would recommend to anyone and everyone. Seeing as how I can't effectively do this - I'm left wondering how it would be possible for you to be part of the collaboration of the other four? They have a HUGE and loyal fan base and I just happen to think that YOUR channel's Subscriber base and Views would explode, if THEIR viewers became YOUR viewers, as well. Anyway - What made me think of that (yet again, today) was the fact that your group had problems while wheeling in Pritchet Canyon - and that's a place that Rory Irish from trail mater seems to mention quite often. Aaaand - I find it odd that YOUR channel hasn't found its place in KZbin's algorithm of 'If You Liked This Channel's Content - Then Your Gonna Be BLOWN AWAY with THIS Other Channel's Content!!!' - - Thanks again, for sharing all your recent content. It has been - by far - my favorite these past couple of months. 👊

Rock pile is def a challenging obstacle. also, cant remember what your rear end is, is it a sterling? those brakes were huge and i smacked them all the time like you did. BKOR has a good fix to swap em out to willwoods.

She is a sterling 10.5!! Brakes are huge but I don't want to get ride of them because of how killer they stop the jeep!! I just need to move them out of the way or build a skid plate 😂😂😂
