Dear Rory. I'm deaply impressed of your skills. It's a hard fight both for the equipments and the skilled men. Now I have been disabled and bedridden for three years after a wrong vaccine dosage, but in my job in hydrogeological and geotechnical ingeneering we often have to drive offroad with a trailer, but never as dangerous like this. And I agree, the trailer has to stay lightweight and simple of a lot of reasons out in rough terrain. Land Rover played around with pto powered trailers with military gun tractors back in the 1970s, they gave up with the idea because when using them on tough trails they tended to cause the tow vehicle to roll over when turning on uneven ground.. keep up the fantastic videos.
