Wow. I just found this. Recommended by someone on amazon. I ordered a back up camera last year and still haven’t been able to use it. Today for some reason I went back to read reviews on it to see if anyone was able to connect it an saw JScan . I order3d the Bluetooth reader today and downloaded the app. Should finally be able to use my back up camera this Saturday. Thank you. You may have saved a kid from being ran over by my listen Jeep. @@bobl8687 yes... very simple. And it lets you do so many other functions, Like disabling the seat belt ding, that’s a plus. You can change so many setting. Totally worth it.

Interestingly I did an oil change and then the check engine light came on and couldnt reset via the Veepak and this app. Tried disconnecting the battery , turning ignition on, pushing brake... But no luck? So I went to the local Diesel Tune guy and he cleared from his plugged in device in sections?. Bummer. That was a whole 4 days thinking how am I going to fix this! Dunno, Maybe I should get a better dongle? 2008 Diesel JK

Hello, I was programming my new key fob on my 2015 dodge grand caravan and I got it to work, all my wireless locks and unlocking worked along with my remote starter. I came home from work the next day and wouldn't work. Has that happened before? I've tried programming it again but it won't work. Any ideas? Thank you.

Greetings from NZ. I got purchased both the app and dongle as recommended. I have a ignition key that won't allow my 2008 diesel to run. So I was wondering if I could through this app and dongle to disable the engine imobiliser? Ā new key is really expensive. Regards.

Well Update on this:> I had NO LUCK in pulling the PIN # from the system. Sure I could buy a couple of quality identical keys and had them cut locally. So after watching / reading a huge amount of of videos and forums... I decided to call the experts. They simply programed my 2 new keys. Perfect! And worrisome free. Which is a bit of a shame. And I did this as when I read the JSCAN PDF the pulling of the Jeeps Pin # is a beta . I thought cant risk stuffing this up. However I did learn how to pull the fuse to reset the small red Led above the fuel guage. Cheers and thanks and the Locksmith gave me the pin # for future reference.

I downloaded OBD JScan on my iPad (and paid for the licence) and bought the recommended iCar Vgate 4.0 BLE bluetooth OBD II adaptor for my 2014 Jeep JK. I wanted to activate a reversing camera that I had installed and also to eliminate the flicker on the LED headlights. The reversing camera activation worked perfectly, really happy about that. However the flicker is still there after activating the LED headlight option. I have sent a message to the developer to see if they can sort the problem - I'll update this post if I can get it to work (or please let me know if you solved this problem yourself). The LED headlights are the official Mopar Jeep headlights that came out about 2017 or so (i.e. take-offs from another Jeep).

Ok I found the solution on the JScan Facebook page - you have to activate TWO options in JScan, both the "LED Quad Headlights" AND the "High Intensity Discharge Lights". I just did this and the flickering has gone away. Awesome!!!

there are so many Bluetooth dongles for ODBII does it matter which one you get is there some compatibility issues? THere is such a range in price I assuming all the magic is happening in the App so the dongle in theory does not matter, am i confused?

I added the hard top to my jeep jk , it had a soft top. I ran the new wires for the rear defroster / windshield wiper and spray. I have to go to a dealer for them to add this feature. Could you include it in your software, i bet a lot of people are looking for this too.

Mine shows me that it's not fully unlocked as I need a security bypass cable. I HAVE the cable that you guys recommended and it still shows that error. Thanks, can't wait to use this next week when I get the new tires/lift

Good morning. Firstly I paid for a lic. for JScan and it is amazing. My Wrqngler Jk had the base model 225/75r16 wheels and tires (29.3"). The Jscan app read that the ecu by default reported 28.3". I put 32" tires on. I found I had to set Jscan to 31" tires. Does all of this seem normal? Seems the entire ecu works correctly with 1 less inch. Thanks!

Yes, every tire is a little different and to mach GPS speed you have to test few tire size options to fine best match.

Please add a way to change electronic sway bar speed parameters. Computer makes the sway bar reconnect at speeds in excess of 18MPH. I have a 3 mile driveway. Would love to be able to be able to hit 25MPH between the rough parts!

Thanks for the walk through! I have a couple of questions. For reference, I have a 2009 JKUR with a LS swap - dual ECU with Mocan module by Motech. The Jeep computer still runs the factory manual trans programming and the GM ECU/TCU run the factory L94/6L80 tunes. 1) In addition to the horn, can I disable the headlight light flash on lock / unlock? 2) Are the actual PID's and formula behind the live display items available to edit? I think Torque Pro supports this but I'd rather just use one app (yours). Thanks! Chris

Hey, quick question. I drive an 08 jk I re geared to 5:13 I followed your directions when I entered my new gear ratio I was notified by the app you only have to go to the initialize egs page for 2012 and newer is this correct? I’m also running 37” sticky trepps so I changed my tire size accordingly in the app this did correct the mph on the speedometer. I’m not noticing any differences in shifting patterns or anything did I not do something right in setting up the new axle ratios? Thanks.

Init EGS is only for 5 speed automatic. On older JK with 4 sped auto you won't see spectacular improvements. Older gearbox and it's not learning new things so quickly.
