Jeep on 35 (John Scofield)-Guitar Lesson

Quick guitar lesson on the song "Jeep on 35" by Mr. Scofield. Explained are chords, strumming, and melody also solo tips.
NOTE: I accidentally called the 1st string 6th and 2nd 5th and so on. please ignore that :)

Thanks for the lesson. One thing though, Every teacher I've ever had and every guitarist I've ever interacted with have referred to the high E string as the first string and the low E string as the 6th string. Perhaps this is an American thing or something, but you count the stings in reverse. None the less, Thanks for the lesson.

Very Cool Man! Thank You For Posting this Lesson. I use Jeep On 35 for one of my Speed Bag Videos on KZbin. John Scofield is such a great musician, and SO under rated. But ,anyways THANKS ALOT. I have the 3 chords down now. I hope i can figure out the single note stuff. You went through the single note stuff pretty fast. but, i'll just try listening closer, and watch the vid more. do you have any tablature you made, for what you figured out of Jeep On 35?

Its like an G sus but no dominant, but there is no 7th, its just an open chord in my opinion with the c played on the B-string! Hope thats it!

Great, but the High E is actually always the 1st string and the Low E the 6th.

do you know where it modulates to after this part? It seems like a whole step down but I could be wrong. It still sounds dominant.
