Thanks! I worked alone but it would have been useful to have a helper to hold the a/c compressor as low as possible when I was taking out and refitting the alternator.

Thank you for making this video. I just changed my alternator (2009 Jeep Compass 2.4) and with the help of this video and the Haynes manual I was able to do it. The Alternator removal and installation is indeed the most difficult part of this job. You were not exaggerating about the lack of space to remove the alternator. Definitely poor design by Chrysler.

Can you suggest the issue of my AC in Jeep Patriot 2007, i am facing an issue when my jeep is on idle the AC is cooling when drive AC stopped cooling

Special equipment and training is required to inspect and fix A/C systems. First your coolant (or antifreeze) may be affected by air buildup. Inspect the fins of the radiator and the the A/C radiator. Make sure the engine is not over heating. After years, the electrical clutch of the A/C compressor may be not be holding properly the pump shaft when the RPM is faster than idle. You might not be able to find by yourself the cause of the problem so it would be good to find a recommended specialist and get a detailed estimate before you spend too much time and money. Hallo Ich habe einen Volvo S40 Business Edition bj2011 114ps mit 240 000 km stand. Den Volvo hab ich 4000 gekauft und kann ihm auch 4000 verkaufen. Ich wollte mir einen Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0 DID Sportback bj 2009 140ps 210 000 Kilometer stand 3700 kaufen. Was ist eure Meinung welches Auto hält länger und welcher wäre gescheiter zum kaufen/behalten. Weil der Mitshubishi hat einen VW Motor drin und mehr Leistung. Der Volvo hat ein rennaut Motor 1.6 und wenig PS kann sein das der absirbt. Bitte um Hilfe!

Note: Je parle seulement français et anglais. Bonjour! Ici au Canada, nous n’avons pas ces moteurs installés dans nos véhicules. Je ne connais pas ces moteurs qui sont dans la Volvo S40 ou le Mitsubishi 2.0 en Europe. Cependant si cela est possible, je préfère coisir un moteur avec avec une chaine d’entrainement (timing chain). Bonne chance...

How many man hours was this? I just paid 600 bucks for this job claiming 4 hours.

If I don't count the time to position the tripod and tee camera, it was around 3 to 3 1/2 hrs.
