I love Jeeps. Jeeps are perfect. You can drive one straight off the lot and all you have to do is replace the tires, rims and tire suspension, lighting sound system. Maybe the grill, add a winch reprogram factory settings and take off the doors and roof and basically you're ready to go.

Hell even the headlights can reverse and be used to see the engine. It has a Pto converter to run engine power to a pulley below the chassi (for saws, generators and washing machines). Furthermore, the oil pump is the gas pump and the windshield wiper pump. When jeeps.......... were jeeps. Kaiser Willys is a life saver for parts.

I think it's closer to 30k upside down, just on the note. Plus everyone maxes cards out for accessories too. That's just some people I know, not just jeeps though. Pretty much everyone I know that has a brand new vehicle that is modified. If you take a brand new $55,000.00 jeep and add 20k in modifications, that does not make the jeep worth 75k. It's still worth 55k, you'd be absolutely lucky if you were to get a penny over 55k. Your best bet is to find an old jeep with as many problems as possible for cheap that way you can justify replacing everything. A jeep that's worth 20k, but they're selling it for 15 because it needs so much work. Then dump 20k in that, no one will know the difference

My wife had a purple Wrangler that she loved (she's had it for 6 years). I was an extension of her, and she took great pride in it, customizing it and just having fun. I got her a special platform for people to duck her, and Saturday afternoon she got her first 2 ducks on the special platform. She was so excited to finally get ducks on the platform she sent me pictures. Sadly that same Saturday she got into an accident and it was totaled. A drunk driver going 80 mph on a side road struck another car and rammed into her. Thankfully and surprisingly no one was seriously hurt, but my wife is devastated at the loss of her jeep.
