I never get to comment 1st and I got nothing except "if you ain't 1st your last"-Ricky Bobbie. Seriously though that Jeeps going to be a beast and so much fun! Bet that owner(sorry forget his name) can't wait to get it. Seems like he wanted the best in parts and builders!

For your under dash brake system have a look at Toprodz, Melbourne, Australia. Pete is a great guy and hotrodder.

My buddy cut the cowl at the body line on the sides of his CJ5 and added 3 inches. Gave a bunch of more room and looked proportionate when it was done

That's cool!

Must be nice to use all new parts & pieces.I bet it saves alot of time with the build, plus no rust to deal with.

I’ve got a jeep tub I got for free sitting on top of my chicken coop just waiting for a build like this
@HardCoreFab13 сағат бұрын
You should build it. I got one in an old barn at the farm but I'll probably never get around to doing it for me.

Think about Hydroboost brakes. you already have power steering pump and it will take a lot less space
@lethargicmotorsport202513 сағат бұрын
Maybe look into a hydro boost for the power brakes , I’ve done this to gain room on a few mini trucks.
@HardCoreFab13 сағат бұрын
I couldn't find a pump that would work with this motor
@Stuffdexdoes2 сағат бұрын
Idea.. I see that your engine exhaust comes down nicely just I. Front of where your custom metal "side skirts". How about using flexhose from exuasht and run the exuaghst thru the rectangle tube side skirts to the back..
@HardCoreFab2 сағат бұрын
@@StuffdexdoesI guess great minds think a like, I was already thinking something like that as well.

Make your front or rear bumper or 3ven part of your frame the air receiver tank.
@HardCoreFab6 минут бұрын
Yeah, someone else said that too, and IDK why I hadn't thought of that yet, but that seems like the thing to do!
@mikebartosch989212 сағат бұрын
I have an idea for the air tank. Build one to hang in front of the grill like the Mooneyes old school fuel tank.
@HardCoreFabМинут бұрын
I like that! Not the look that we are going for on this build but I'll save that back for another build in the future!
@johngallagher5341Сағат бұрын
Can you use your roll bar for your air tank? I don’t know if it’s possible but if you can that would be awesome. If not I seen where they have used their bumper with a round tube the length of the bumper. Just idea I was thinking about. Thanks for listening to the thought.
@HardCoreFab15 минут бұрын
That is a great idea! I should have thought of that! Thanks!
@tomc274814 сағат бұрын
Hydro boost instead of vacuum booster may be more compact.
@HardCoreFab13 сағат бұрын
I looked at that too but couldn't find a power steering pump
@simongardiner20829 сағат бұрын
can you put the air compreser behind the seats and the gas tank there as well
@HardCoreFab7 минут бұрын
The gas tank will have to go behind the rear-end. Not sure on the compressor yet
@speedbuggy16v13 сағат бұрын
you might consider an electric brake booster.
@HardCoreFab13 сағат бұрын
I'm not sure how I would fill with an electric booster
@speedbuggy16vСағат бұрын
@@HardCoreFab easy, you just plug it in! 🤣
@HardCoreFabСағат бұрын
@speedbuggy16v i know how to install it I said idk how I would feel about it. Probably would be fine. I know they use them on new car.....
@kodak_jack3 сағат бұрын
I know your emphasis is on making this a Jeep that can be lowered, but this same thing done at conventional height would still be a good build. Putting a brake booster down underneath will be a challenge.
@HardCoreFab10 минут бұрын
Your right but we already did that build and we are always looking to take things to the next level. kzbin.info/www/bejne/nnmUp4qAgqurbbssi=wHP7R5qGC9JUK_iA

Rather than a bumper could you v not frame up front and bend them in weld together to give you smoother look

That would be a great look but maybe to refined for the end goal
