Jeep Rubicon on 40's. Lifted JT Gladiator Rubicon. 2021 Jeep Rubicon, Rough Country.

Jared installs a 6 inch Rough Country lift kit and 40 inch Trail Grabber tires in his new Jeep Gladiator Rubicon and we take it to the sand. He will walk you through the installation of the lift kit on his jeep and tell you what he likes and doesn't like about it. Jared has installed many of the Mopar factory lift kits on several new Jeep Gladiator's and Jeep Wranglers. But they do not make a 6 inch lift for the new Gladiator or JL Wrangler. In order for the jeep to clear 40 inch tires and have good articulation he felt he needed the 6 inch lift. Jared has installed all different brands of lifts and he doesn't really have a favorite brand. However the Mopar lift for under 4 inches of lift is a very good quality lift kit and he is installed several in JTs and JL Jeep's. Recently he has installed several Rough Country lifts and has been very happy with the quality and the detailed instructions. And that is one of the reasons he chose the Rough Country lift for his Jeep. We take his lifted JT Gladiator to the dunes at Sand Lake Oregon. There we meet up with several friends who are driving their UTV's and riding ATVs. Stay tuned to the end and you'll get to see what it is like do you ride at Sand Lake Oregon in the winter time.

I have a 2020 Rubicon Gladiator Launch Edition and am currently building the 6" Rough Country with their reservoir shocks and using Clayton front and rear upper and lower adjustable control arms! My mod guy has been running the said set up on his Gladiator Overlander for about a year now and he absolutely loves it and says it drives better than stock and I can agree for I have test drive his. I suggest adding the Clayton's front and rear upper and lower adjustable control arms and the Rough Country reservoir shocks and thank me later!

Looks great! What backspacing did you need to use to clear 40s? And do they rub at all?

He is running the stock gears. Surprisingly it performs well.

Are you guys planning on regearing it ? I just recently did a 6” rough country lift and 40” tires and going to 5.13 gears

@@RustyDuckGarage im getting my 6" lift installed pretty soon. Just looking at what size tires I want. I'm looking at 39s. Do you think this will be too much tire for the 3.73 gears for about a year until I regear? I will only be doing some overlanding to get to some fishing spots. Nothing crazy.

Mopar lifts are pretty awesome. But very happy with Rough Country. We install all brands of lifts and Rough Country is a quality lift.
