Jeep SRT-8 with a very minor cylinder 3 misfire

So good watching someone using data to diagnose a vehicle. The time saving for any workshop to use these methods to get a result is huge. Quicker diagnosis. No wasted time repeating repairs. Happier customers. Not a parts cannon in sight.

Is this engine VVT control? I would have easliy think that that hump is normal especially if there is a command to the solenoid from the ecu

I thought it was the cam lobes that wore out on these, all the cop cars in the states have the problem if they idle for excess periods

Ya was there some ticking noise from the lifter?
