Jeep TJ build: DIY Snorkel install

This is on my to do list as well. First main concern is a set of new axles to replace the Dana 20 and 35. Nicely done my friend . . . love the looks of that snorkel.

Thanks mate! Yea working on the drive train and making the jeep more reliable should always be priority. The snorkel was one of those fun modifications/ not completely necessary mods.

@@dtpprojects (I meant the Dana 30 and 35 ) ;-) I agree but the problem where I live is that axles are very hard to come by especially used Dana 44's It's like striking gold. I'm now considering a Currie 44 in the front and the Currie 60 high pionion in the rear. But that will dennt my savings pretty hard. So still orienting. What axles do you run?

@ in Australia, we are very lucky that all TJs came with a 44 rear and 35 front Dana. Getting a Currie is crazy expensive to get here.

looks awesome, my only concern is how much does it interfere with the door removal?

@@Beaverj420 Yea, with the snorkel bolted on, you won’t be able to lift the door on and off anymore.
