🔴What do you think is the most surprising reason behind the Jeep Wrangler's declining sales?🤔 🏆Subaru Forester - 5 reasons You should not buy one WATCH HERE 👉kzbin.info/www/bejne/fZyuo2uOns6kqJI

A Subaru is a unibody vehicle. The Subaru is an AWD vehicle. A Subaru is not a full frame 4x4 with hi lo capability. It a ridiculous comparison.

It's too darn expensive that's the only reason. 60K for a Jeep is non sense
@tariklaarej22594 ай бұрын
It’s only one reason the price!! If you love jeep you don’t care about competition a jeep is a Jeep it’s unique and you can always change weak parts. Price are absurd specially the 2 doors

Dude fr a sport at a dealership i saw was at 65k!!!! A fully loaded Rubicon before was 55k out the door

You can still buy a base model for less than the competition. The wrangler is a fun and capable off road vehicle and solid axles are king off road, IFS offers no articulation and they break on the rocks. I love my jeep, does everything I need it to and looks good while doing it. People these days are boring and just want a boring car that does nothing special.

The fact that they still kept the naturally aspirated 3.6 is great. The engine is now more or less bulletproof. No turbos no nonsense, unlike the broncos eco boost.

Whomever wrote this Toyota commercial had incorrect facts. The current Wrangler (with the 2024 updates) launched in the last half of 2018, not 2017. 2018 was a half-model year. The Bronco pictured is actually NO competition for the Wrangler. The Bronco pictured is the Sport, made on a unibody frame. This is more comparable to the Jeep Renegade. The full size Bronco is the Wrangler competition and is MUCH more expensive and riddled with manufacturing supply chain problems. These have been flattening out in recent months, but the Wrangler is still more customizable at the moment. It's all about price. Although the 392 is nice, as is the Bronco, neither are worthy of a 6-figure price tag!

I just bought a Wrangler Rubicon. Got a $12k discount from MSRP. Love it. If people want a off road Jeep with independent suspension, get a Grand Cherokee Trailhawk.
@stevekendra89834 ай бұрын
The biggest factor is cost and to a slightly lesser extent reliability. I would definitely be in the market for a 2 door wrangler but even the base model is as expensive as a toyota 4runner sr5 and you don't get as many features or the reliability. If jeep priced tye 2door wrangler accordingly I'd be interested. The fact that a 4runnner is as expensive as a 2door wrangler with minimal options and questionable quality is exactly why people are leaving jeep. If they don't wake the fuck up and fix their issues... the brand name jeep won't save them.

1. Everyone that wants one already own one. 2. High price together with current high interest rate. 3. Fuel economy in a time where gas is $$$$. 4. Daily drivers preferring the IFS comfort in the 4Runner and Bronco.

I bought my first wrangler at 51. A 2021 JLU sport. 21k miles rubicon wheels. 4cyl turbo convertible top. Not my daily driver. Just summer fun and something to tow atv with. It has the towing package. Higher output alternator and factory aux switches.

I bought a new JK Wrangler in 2013 and bought another new JKU sahara in 2017. Bought both as a weekend fun vehicle, not as my primary car. I won't buy another one at these prices! It's simply not worth it.

I love my JK WU/S 2013 (92k miles) and a XJ C/S 2000 (174k miles) which is a no frills tank s6. Newer vehicles have too much fancy lights, functions & systems that in 5 or 10years will fail - good luck being able to a) afford the spares b) find the spares and c) afford the labor costs to replace them. KISS principle was lost on new generations of vehicles unless you factor in the makers KNOW that they can charge you like raging bulls for replacements. Bottonline - newer is not always better.

If you feel that new vehicle prices are too high, you’re right. But why do you blame Stellantis, Ford, or GM? The UAW is constantly threatening strikes for higher wages and more benefits, and the government is constantly hitting automakers with more and more burdensome regulations. These factors are out of the control of manufacturers. The UAW is shooting itself in the foot. There used to be almost 100,000 auto plant workers in Detroit, now there is less then 10,000. If you were the CEO of one of these corporations, tasked with making the company profitable, wouldn’t you move your manufacturing to Mexico too?

Yes! Reliability issues, and the total disregard of dealers in getting them repaired in a timely manner. 3 weeks in a brand new wrangler, 2,500 miles while on vacation and the alternator goes out, local dealers not able to help in a timely fashion. Yank one (alternator) off a new unsold unit and get the customer going, that is what should have been done.

Exactly!!! Reliability!!! 2021 Jeep Wrangler Sahara Unlimited High Altitude owner here. She blew a CAM at 21k. Let's say that again a CAM at 21k. Routine maintenance at the dealership. It took approximately 5 weeks to get my Jeep back and then the OEM battery went out. It wasn't even three years old. I threw her in the garage and purchased another daily. I'm keeping the miles extremely low, the paint/exterior in mint condition, so that she's worth more than what I owe to send her down stream. I wanted to be a JEEP owner since my time in the military, finally happened and now I'm so disappointed. Here's the real kicker, outside my new daily, I have 2011 Nissan Titan with 103k. I've only had to change the oil and new breaks in that truck. She cranks up and rumbles like a lion every time. It's ridiculous. They need to focus more on the reliability of JEEPs and the cost. 😢

Your information isn't wrong but it you are showing Rubicon's. I don't ever remember seeing a Rubicon at a dealership ever for under $35,000. Also, you must be using company MSRP without any mark up of extras. Don't be a dope.

I have driven the high alpine trails in Colorado for decades. 60% of what you see on the trails are Side by side ATV's. 20 years ago you rarely saw one. Of those still driving street legal 4x4's on the mountain trails half are driving Toyota products. Most of these Toyota and Lexus vehicles are older that have been lifted and tricked out.

Its the price lets be honest yes you made great points but those are more of a you know what you're getting yourself into with some research no lets be honest the biggest problem is the price its insane what a wrangler can cost way more specially since dealerships love to put there Packages and lift them and add expensive as wheels you berly find any base wranglers not everyone wants a Rubicon lifted on 2 inches and 35' wheels
