I got mine from AliExpress here s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_DDRQoyr but it looks like Amazon also sells it here amzn.to/3PxylFj the chip immobilizer is here amzn.to/3tcwA90 HOWEVER, I did not use this because I removed the chip from one of my factory keys & stuck it next to the factory chip immobilizer ring on the steering column. YMMV if you want an easier install I recommend the chip immobilizer remote box they sell that I linked above. I have the Smart Wrangler. Love it, except for the constant lock and unlocks if I'm just standing outside the jeep. Might need to move my antennas or see if I can add extra antenna. Mime was way more than $160 though. Great video

Yes I did see their price on their website. It's pretty high. I checked today & the EasyGuard for Jeep Wrangler is $188 on Amazon. I'd like to get a smart Wrangler to compare the systems since they're both plug n play. I think it would make for a good KZbin video too. The only difference I see on the smart Wrangler is that it has integration with Apple home kit, Google home assistant, & Amazon Alexa. That would be nice to have for someone like me that loves automation. I agree. My fringe area is about 25 feet from the Jeep. Then it starts locking & unlocking over and over haha

Does the remote start bypass the ignition switch

I am unsure what that means but I can tell ya I had to plug in a harness that comes w/ a kit that plugs into the ignition switch wiring. Probably doesn't answer your question though.

Looks great! How did you manage to mount the push button start where the oem turn key goes?

A lot of patience & grace on myself. It took some time & trial & error for sure. I built a bracket with my Dremel, JB weld, & some needle nose pliers to bend the metal tab that came with the kit that bolts to the back of the push button start. I should make a part2 video showing this. And thank you for the kind words! Affirmation, especially on the Internet, is pretty awesome. 🙏🏻

New info, the representative for easy guard that's on WhatsApp has stated that the Amazon pke remote start system that you see in my vehicle will be available again in 10 minutes. So that's cool. Glad more people are finding out about this system.

what year is your wrangler. easyguard website says 2013 and up but you said 2012 and up in the video. I have a 2012 I just don't know if it will work. thanks

Yeah for some reason the Amazon link and the AliExpress link both say 2013 through 2017. However I have a 2018 jku and I had zero issues. My understanding was 2012 had the redesign interior so I would imagine if it works on a 13 it works on a 2012. I guess if you order it the worst case is you have to return it and you just wasted about 2 hours of your life away. I also can't help but wonder if it works on other years like 2010 when they released the new revised key that had the chip in it.

Still debating giving it a shot… so if you put a chip from the factory key on the ignition cylinder inside the steering column instead of using a security bypass system, what would stop a random person from simply using the push to start button to start the jeep if its in a public parking lot without having any key at all? Thanks

@@alexdavis9710 the push to start requires the EasyGuard key to communicate to the PKE system. No key. No start. But like with all things, if they want your Jeep. They'll find a way to take it. Just like they somehow bypass the factory key I'd imagine the same could probably be done with the EasyGuard key

Is the only thing needed to install the easy guard? I see other people using the omega/excaliber integrated for “security bypass” perhaps? Is that a necessary thing to purchase as well?

@@alexdavis9710 nope. At least for me and my Jeep Wrangler all I used was the EasyGuard system I linked in my description from Amazon (or AliExpress) there is also the EasyGuard bypass that I also linked to make the install easier but I did not use it.
