Practical Design. If you want to move your factory mirrors from the doors to the A-pillars, these Rugged Ridge Mirror Relocation Brackets are a great way to do just that. Of course, the big advantage to moving the mirrors is that when you take your doors on and off, you don’t have to mess with the mirrors at all. Some people choose to get quick disconnect mirrors for the hinges or even that attach to the A-pillars for when the doors are off, but this solution means you just put these brackets and the mirrors on and leave them alone. With this solution, you’re using the factory side mirrors and arms. These mirror relocation brackets were designed by Rugged Ridge specifically for 1997 to 2002 Jeep Wrangler TJs.
Strong Construction. These brackets are made of steel, and will withstand years of use and abuse. They’re coated with a gloss black powder coat, helping to match other exterior trim pieces on your Jeep, and sealing the metal from corrosive elements for a much longer-lasting solution.
Simple Installation. You’re only going to spend a half an hour or even less time installing these mirror brackets on your Jeep. You just need to remove two Torx bolts from your windshield hinge on each side, then place the bracket over the bolt holes and replace the bolts. Then you remove the mirror by backing out the Torx bolts that hold it in place, and remove the bracket from the mirror using a socket. You then use a socket to bolt the mirror onto the new bracket.
