What is your opinion on the 4 cylinder? Any issues pulling using the winch or trailing? I have one but mainly use it on the road.
@ATEMOFFROAD
@ATEMOFFROAD Жыл бұрын
I think they are great capable Jeeps and the main difference between the 4.0 is they are way lighter and that makes a big difference on obstacles. Other than that they can be built to be just as capable as the 4.0l. But apples to apple the 4.0 is a better jeep more power and stronger transmission. 4 liter lacks power climbing mountains at high speeds, but in 4lo with the axle disconnected they are crawlers. Flat land towing ok not up hills, yes have a winch and don’t forget to use it🍻

Great channel dude....I have a 2006 LJ looking to add mods....interested in learning about your mods with your spare tire from start to finish...where might I view that?..Watched the ra k build but where do I start as far as the bar coming up behind tire
@ATEMOFFROAD
@ATEMOFFROAD 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for checking out the channel, the rear tire carrier already comes with the square tube of on the back of the spare tire. A lot of my mods have been designed off the tube back there, for instance my awning and my bike rack! If you have already checked out the rack build maybe head over to the awning build and fuel water cell mounts video. There you can see more of the build. @ATEMOFFROAD
@ATEMOFFROAD 3 жыл бұрын
Just quicker throttle response, that was about it. I liked the mod personally, but if I were to do it again , I would buy the flex a lite kit out right! That radiator and fan I used turned out to be junk for the money I paid for it not worth it, my factory radiator lasted about 10 times longer than that aluminum one! Stay away from deep fake radiator! Thanks for watching cheers

I’ve been driving my 97 tj without sway bars because the left side sway bar was rubbing into my frame as well. Where can I get the clamps you have to keep it from moving? TIA
@ATEMOFFROAD
@ATEMOFFROAD 3 жыл бұрын
Nice , I got those clamps on Amazon , but I think you can get them from eBay too, I believe there 1” 1/16” two pieces set collars but just double check and measure the o.d - just to be sure! Thanks for watching

How did you put that vinyl on the hood? My hood has a horrible paint job and needs something like that
@ATEMOFFROAD
@ATEMOFFROAD 3 жыл бұрын
💥 nice, I stripped and cleaned everything off of the hood , removed the hood then had a assistant help me lay the carbon vynl sheet over the hood and I carefully spread the vynl over the enter hood using a plastic puddy spreader with an straight edge and a heat gun, you will want to use 72x60 “ sheet this was plenty and 5D pattern, but you can also use 7D depending on the pattern you like it’s thinker material, if your particular about the outcome, the more time you spend the better off you will be, hope this helps , thanks for watching! PS Also I recently just painted my hood , if you watch my hood louver install I go over some painting details you may water to consider watching that too, thanks
