Great attitude dude. I just got a 91 YJ Wrangler. I have a BadLands winch. Been day dreaming. I am thinking I will build a winch kradle out of the stokk bumper steel itself but mounting it on top instead of the front,like rotating it. Then hakking the sides off and rewelding them to the stub's open frame ends. Somthing like that. Great vid dude.

Thanks a lot man! Really appreciate that! I enjoy making the videos for the channel to help people. The factory front bumper is a tough beast. But, if you use it to build a winch plate. Weld some braces under it that ties to the frame. That much pull, you cant be too safe!! Thanks for dropping in and leaving a great comment!! Have a great day!!

I bought these same lights on amazon for $28 for a set. These cree ebay or amazon led lights are just awesome. I paid $300 for a set of 4in led Ridged I think and the ebay lights are just as bright but sometimes get a little moisture inside but keep on workin. I'm going to use your way to make the templet to set my flush mounts into me rear bumper as backup/F.U. lights. cant go wrong with these. another great video bud.

+Teresa Shaw Thanks a lot man! I cant bring myself to pay the big money for "big brand" LEDs. The Cree do just as well at a much lesser price. The trick is just to take a little extra time and some RTV or clear silicon to seal them up. Thanks for dropping in! Thanks for taking the time to leave a great comment! Have a great day!

Nice look with the new bumper lights. i would recommend repositioning the ground wires pointing up to keep water from seeping into the cable causing a possible problem later. But hey, that's just me!!! keep the videos coming!!!!

+InjunOne I can't disagree with ya. The heat shrink helps with that, but doesn't eliminate it. If I had soldered the connection it would have been fine. My time has been so spread thin lately it took me a month to get those installed .. lol. Thanks for hanging in with me and dropping the great comments!! Have a great day man!

Nice install video! I've been contemplating getting a set of these for reverse lights.

+TrailRecon Thanks, glad you liked the video. They are good lights. I was rather impressed by them. I'll eventually move those to another location once I start fabbing the front bumper. You have a good idea with having a set for back up lights. May graft a set into the rear of mine. Thanks for dropping in. Have a great day!

Great job Brother! I look forward to your videos. I'm rebuilding a 5.7 liter 350 hopefully going in my YJ next Spring.

+Angel Reyes Thanks a bunch man! WhenI popped my transmission a while back, I came real close to dropping in a very warm 305 / TH400. Then I came across a running 4.0 / AX15 complete with harness and PCM for $350. I couldn't pass that up. So, that set me up to rebuild my original 4.0 into a 4.6 stroker. My heat/Air unit for the house is acting up at the moment and eating into my engine building funds! So .. hopefully around March I'll start that build. Yep .. I'm gonna do a very detailed engine build video series on that stroker build :-) Thanks for hanging out brother!! Have a great day!!

Excellent idea, not so technical I can't do the same for my 93 YJ. Funny thing is my front bumper is bent just like yours was. Guess I need to pull out my grade 8 chain and hook it to my Silverado hitch cause I lost both of my big trees this summer.

I had to snatch the crap outta mine to make it come anywhere near straight. I'm going to be fabricating a custom bumper soon so I wasnt sweating it too much as to how straight I got it. I really like LEDs, in most cases using a heavy duty switch is more than enough to run them. I've got a 52" I haven't wired in yet. I need test the amp load to see if it may need a relay. Good luck on installing them in your YJ! Thanks for checking out the video and taking the time to leave a great comment. Have a great day!!

Awesome video but you didn't show the peeps how you hooked up your control switch... And a fuel. Injector video would be nice.. thanks for the great videos
@Poweraddicts
@Poweraddicts 6 жыл бұрын
You welcome man!! To be honest, not showing that control box was more of a blessing for everyone. The little button pad that controlled the main control box was very sensitive to cold weather. I know that sounds weird ... lol. Only thing I could figure out was when it got really cold it would cause that little switch pad to contract, therefore making contact and turning on the bumper lights. Welp ... thats spelled several jump starts until I finally figured out what was killing the battery. I pulled that control switch out and put a regular toggle in. No more dead battery issues. Yep .. I totally agree about the injector video. I've had injectors and a Camshaft position sensor video on the list for a while. Should have had them done a long time ago. Pulling 45 - 50 hours a week at my real job sometimes I squeeze in videos the best I can. I bought another 6cyl YJ not long ago. Now I can make the videos off of it and not mess with my driver. Then if I have to stop mid video I can come back and pick it up later. Thanks for dropping in man!! Have a great day!

Can you post a video of how to change standard dashboards lights to leds and also my speedometer works onece in a while. Do you know what it could be. Thanks in advance
@Poweraddicts
@Poweraddicts 8 жыл бұрын
+Daljit Singh Ya know .. that has been on my to do list for a while. Your speedo .. probably need to clean the electrical contacts in the cluster. YJs with cranks dash clusters is a common issue. Here is a vid where I cleaned the cluster in mine. You will also see the cluster light bulbs. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJqciWWXnLR4j9U Thanks for checking out my vids!! Have a great day!!

Those were given to me. They are a cool function but I started having trouble out of them so I took that switch system out and went rockers and relays to control the lighting. Thanks for checking out the video and taking the time to leave a helpful comment! Have a great day!

do u sell your mirror mount?
@Poweraddicts
@Poweraddicts 8 жыл бұрын
+Gary King Never really thought about it to be honest with you. You just got my mental gears turning .. lol. It wouldn't be hard to make a jig to weld some up. I just kinda slammed those together out of necessity and boredom. It may be after the first of the year, but I'll research the idea of making them to determine material and labor overheads. Bear in mind, the passenger side is useless with the doors on, I cant even see the mirror let alone use it. In some states that require mirrors to be legal, passenger side would keep you po-po happy. I documented your KZbin user name. I'll get back with you about it if I see the idea if feasible. Thanks a bunch for checking out the video! Have a great day!!
