Here's how to install pre-cut tint on a 1997-2001 Jeep Cherokee XJ.
I definitely recommend using a LOT of soapy water, a heat gun, and if you're doing this in the summer, make sure your AC works!!!

If you attempt this make sure you tuck the tint all the way down Into the door past the trim. It was the hardest part but it must be done to prevent peeling.

Hey man good job! I’m a window tinter in Georgia. Just some tips for new comers to tint. I’d recommend 1. I’d recommend bottom loading the film. Basically remove the weather strip or door panel and you won’t have to heat and it will come out cleaner. Most jeeps have a lot of felt taping it off will limit contaminates. 2. Never use ammonia based window cleaners on the tint.

If, for whatever reason, you don't want to use microfiber towels you can use newspaper. It doesn't leave any lint behind

Yea I'm in the same boat except its in the 50s for me. It's also funny when he said not to open them for a few days the proceeds to open them later in the video. It seemed like it was the same day too. 😂❤

What size wheels and tires does your Jeep have? And does it have a lift and if it does what size?

Billfrog Frogman Hey, I have a 3" Rough Country lift with full leaf springs. [not add a leaf] My rims are OEM from a 2012 Dodge Challenger and I'm running Firestone Destination 265/60/r18 [approx 30.75] Its a great ride for a daily driver. Thanks for watching!

How much was the limited? I really want one of these, but in the limited style, or at least with the nicer seats. Are these so moddable you can mod just about everything including interior?

Yes Sir you can... the options are limitless. My Limited XJ I call Black Beauty shows the mods in "the perfect XJ" video. If you want to buy one, try to find a Limited XJ with low miles and one that is all original, or hasnt been modified too much.

@@ProjectDanH Yeah, most I are modded. Hard to find pristine stock with low miles for under 10k in Pac NW. But I don't need a low mileage one as it will be a summer/road-trip/weather vehicle. Not a DD.
