Easy my rear...lol. I got it off, oiled, and sliding in less than 5 minutes. Then it took 2 hours to try to get the thing back on. Bloody knuckles and scraped forarms. He shows you in the video with the skid plate off. If your skid plate is still on good luck. took off the shifter cover in the cab floor and tried to come in from the top too. you are trying to squeeze channel locks blind. next time i will drop the skid plate.

😂😂😂😂😂 Tell me about it..and I bought a new adjustable arm with the swivel eye ends to make it "easier" (my ass) To keep in place I'm about ready to cut the damn z bracket and weld it differently guaranteeing me enough room to shift the Biiiotch!!

What's the point of the z box bracket..it seems to be the problem with the shifter not getting where it needs to be..on my 94 YJ that I'm installing a new Golen Stroker Motor, AX-15 transmission to my original NP231J transfer case.. three damn days and counting fighting that bugger

What thread size is the 13mm small bolt that you removed from the rod you wire brushed? I have lost mine. Thank you for the Vid.

I am not sure, you will have to remove the linkage and take it with you to the hardware store.

Hello I need the whole shifter assembly to fit ax15 for a 231 transfer case for a 88 Wrangler. Anyone got one for sale ??

are you sure its an Ax-15. the original trans would have been an Peugeot transmission. If your not sure watch my video on shifters to make sure. If it is an AX-15 the best bet is Ebay
