I saw Oasis perform on February 5th, 1995 @ Nile Theater, Mesa, Arizona. There were only 80 or so people in the audience. Put on a great show. Before the show, I walked by the tour bus parked in front of the venue. Liam was playing an acoustic guitar, and Noel was riding up and down the sidewalk on a skateboard.

I'm hoping for a Maine Road 96 2nd night type start. A banging Swamp Song to bring back the Oasis sound, then Hello, then Acquiesce. Later, Noel can give a wee mention to the ex-wife with Whatever, lol. A Budokan 97 version of Champagne Supernova would be mental as well, while we're at it. That version is epic, the best ever done. Noel and the band going off big time, rocking out the ending from about 8 minutes in until the end, is something else.

Oasis has been my band for almost 28 years. I have been in a cover band. I have been an Oasis bootlegger. I've printed their lyrics. Bought mags and such. Despite I'm a bit older now, this news have woken up my young lad and filled me with excitement, even venturing to go further and beyond and thinking of going to the UK for this moment. If so, remind me of inviting you for a pint, James. You've certainly kept the Oasis flame ablaze, and all of us should be thankful of you being here. This is a celebration for us all. Was never in doubt. The minute Sara was sent packing you knew Noel was ready. The most recent solo tours almost seem like a master stroke to truly throw everyone off. I think they are older now. The timing of this reunion couldn't be any better to be honest. I've been on a journey of rediscovering Oasis over the past couple of weeks and it's been like meeting up with an old mate you haven't seen in years! I don't think it was planned but do think something with the divorce to Sara had to do with the brothers reconciling. Think Noel has been wanting to re-visit the Oasis flame for awhile now. It's who he is. The best music he and Liam ever made was in that band. There's arguably no other band that stands the test of time as much as them from the time they were around. My band got rammed by circumstance the same year Oasis split up. June/August 2008. Lost spark that summer and then lost enthousiasm around 2012. And I got back on stage earlier this year. No one else joining in yet. The reason why I think or hope is in Liam Gallagher is because just that music how you like it, and doing it. The same reason you start doing it. You hear songs, you see gigs, you see rock n roll bands playing concerts and you just want to DO it.

James, the idea that the whole timing of the comeback was planned is an interesting idea. The song you refer to 'one of us' was written for the 2019 album 'Why me, why not' made 10 years after the break up. So if that song secretly referenced the reunion plan it really was the best kept secret. Having seen your video of the Mastetplan conspiracy I could believe that Noel could come up with such a plan but I am more doubtful that at that time when the Brotherly feud was still on, that he could persuade Liam. If he could that would imply that the feud ended 5 years sooner than we knew but was kept up for appearances in order to carry out the plan. What do you think?

I reckon the lineup will end up looking like this: Liam, Noel, Bonehead, Gem Archer and Chris Sharrock. Bonehead will be there because of his work with Liam (not to mention being an original Oasis member) Gem Archer and Chris Sharrock will be there due to being in the High Flying Birds and former members of Oasis. Archer will shift to bass.

I was delighted to hear the news and glad to be off work on Saturday morning to try and get a ticket. I will need to ignore my principles for once if the quoted ticket prices are true. That said I am glad that you didn't focus on the financial aspect like the mainstream media. I enjoyed as always hearing your perspective. I think Noel is very clever in the way he timed it. I had no doubt that Liam wanted it all along. Before seeing your video my feeling was how could Noel see the success of the Definitely Maybe tour and Liam's talk of a tour for Morning Glory and not join it. I felt in the end he just wouldn't be able to do it. The question that interests me most is the set that they will play. That would be a good topic for a future video. Your channel is epic, your one of them that made this happen I can’t thank you enough James, this is utterly amazing I knew straight off when the Iasis sign was released on Twitter with date and time you knew this was genuine we’d had rumours and fake reunion gossip that never came true as soon as they released time and date and were on sky & BBC News you knew, James you kept the light shining that they would make a comeback and now I’m just stunned they are actually back but sad as I was on ticketmaster for over 9 hours waiting in queue and by time it got to me (and I was there spot on 8am” all seats for everywhere had gone my dream was to see them live at Wembley as Iv seen them Live over 11 times I never expected every seat as I’m disabled now, would be took at London gone, Edinburgh gone, Cardiff gone, Manchester gone to see them at Manchester would have been even better than Wembley but life goes on I have a great brother, he managed to get 4 Oasis tickets now I don’t know abt everyone but if I knew my brother grew up in his teens to Oasis, was Obsessed with them and I had 4 tickets he gave two to a friend Iv never heard of. If it were me with 4 tickets, 4, and I had 2 to sell I’d put my brother first. But they’re back and hopefully I’ll get to see them where I live as Iv heard they are doing 14 shows. Oasis are back the 90’s is coming back thank Gid because this generation of music is absent everything sounds the same a depressed female singer, screaming (not singing) to a 90’s cover, we had a voice the 90’s was history it brought back the 60’s it was second summer of love we called it, it’s hard to describe a feeling that the 90’s gave us, waiting on new Oasis Single or Album, singing along everybody singing to “Live Forever” or “Don’t Look Back In Anger” it was sublime what a feeling, you’ll never touch or come close to the 90’s the best days of my life with an obsession with Oasis 😂 😂

It's a scam. No way would they be pissed off at each other for 15 yrs like that and then... OK let's do a world tour. I've seen em 6 times, main road, knebword, Etihad. Was a huge fan. The few times in the noughties I saw em, liams voice was shot, made the day shit. They've enjoyed their solos, and always had this 'comeback' in mind. Good on em to make the money, but to me there full of shit, and I cannot imagine what the shows will be like. They wear great in there day, Liam snarling an that and young, best front man back then, but yer won't get anything but a 50 yer old trying to belch out tunes that he can't.

I imagine drummer is going to be Chris Sharrock given he's the high flying birds drummer. Plus there's Gem. So i imagine line up will be Liam, Noel, Gem, Chris, and perhaps Bonehead given he's been doing shows with Liam? Wonder if Liam's son's band might be on support bill too?
