The operators are in great debate about replacing them. Also the cost to the riders will go up, quite a bit.

nice simple walkabout video. i love walking but it’s not for the faint of heart in southeast asia, except singapore, which is the disney version of asia. jeepneys are fun the first time, okay the second time and serious incentive to find the nearest toyota dealer by the third time. pretty countryside view. i guess that los banos and laguna de bay is on the other side of those mountains beyond the padi fields. read about the “raid on los banos” in 1945. 18yo filipina debut party is very filipino experience. cheers.

I saw a video about it. Very interesting, the site is now soccer fields at Los Banos University. My girls mother talked of the atrocities committed then by the Japanese. sad really. Very sad.

THAT was a real tuff adventure for an 'old fart' like me ! --- Perhaps a "grab" with some AC would have been my idea - w/very little walking --&-- no jeepneys ? Cost difference would have been worth it for me !!! 🤗 Too old for all that. 👍🙏✌

Yes the Jeepney is hard to do for a long time but the experience is worth it. My back aches after an hour! I'm 6ft6in tall so...takes some getting used to.

Yes I do! I'm going to see about a car in or around November. I also have a 650 cc. bike in Canada, may ship it over.

It's.not too bad...the jeepneys sometimes smoke alot. The cars are not to bad.

Not sure, ain't been in. But they are everywhere. The canadian chain, Tim Hortons however is identical. Same stores same coffee same donuts. 6 locations in Manila

You gotta play wind your way through. People will slow to allow you to cross, but they won't stop most of the time. It's easy when you have it figured out.
