no lie its a fucking scary feeling when you submerge the whole hood of your jeep into a mud pit, or a body of water. I did that with my JK and had to change my alternator.

Hi there! Here in Brasil, Willys Jeeps are very common and they perform very well. Also the Ford F-75 is a beast and the Toyota Bandeirantes is outstanding. Just type: "Jeep trilhas" or "Jipe Trilhas" or "Jeep Clube" , F-75 trilhas or "F-75 ao extremo". Trilha is trail in Portuguese. Cheers!!!!

I like your jeep the best. Duratracs look pretty good as well, for someone who would hit mud/trails/fields every now and then but mostly run pavement would you choose duratracs or Toyo RT/MT? I say MT because they simply wear great, and i could probably get a good 40,000 out of them even though they're a mud tire. The RT has a 45,000 tread wear warranty and is like the duratrac a true hybrid between an AT & MT. The Duratrac is also much lighter than the Toyo. All that said they're both expensive for a 20" rim. This is for a 2014 Sierra SLT. Awesome videos! We have a bronco i really want to redo as it's current state is well somewhat torn to pieces interior wise. I'd like to fix it up give it a new finish and have what you guys have with your jeeps.
@Berserkeroffroad10 жыл бұрын
Will Sartin Thanks! 99.5% of my miles are on the pavement, which is why I chose the Duratracs. I know of at least 7 guys with the Toyo MTs on their daily-driven Jeeps that they wheel once a month or less and they like them. The tires are a little heavy so you'll lose performance over the Duratracs but not much. I don't think you can get a Duratrac for a 20" rim though, but I could be wrong.
@5RWill10 жыл бұрын
Treaddepot has 305/55/20 in duratracs, though they're 370-390$ a tire (God i hate 20s) The RTs currently only have limited sizes but Toyo is planning to release more. If i go with them i'd be waiting on 295/55/20s. Local guy has used trail graps with 200 miles on the 295/55/20s for 250$ a tire, they'll be gone by the time i change tires though. Ultimately it will be a toss up between the Open Country Rts, Toyo/Nitto MT, and Duratracs.
@SLICKW19939 жыл бұрын
If your going to do mud I would do Toyo's. I have Duratracs on my Jeep and they don't do well in mud. I got stuck pretty good this past weekend in deep mud. The problem with the duratracs is they don't clean out like MT's. They work great in everything EXCEPT mud. But the Duratrac's hold up well running pavement, I've had mine over a year and half and they still have a lot of tread.
@5RWill9 жыл бұрын
I've found Trail Graps as low as 338$ a tire in 295/55/20. Though i read so many mixed reviews on their balancing and wear.Comparing them and the toyo's they look similar but the Trail Grappler is indeed more aggressive. Given that the duratracs are 390$ a tire for 305/55/20 i just don't know if i'll go with them. I can get the RT for 345$ a tire in 33x12.5x20, and hopefully cheaper when they release more sizes. All that said though i'm probably going to end up with Toyo MTs. They're aggressive, clean out well, wear great, and have good road manners.
