Fix Loose Jeep Dash Vent: Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited Dash Vent

Randomly, in my jeep waiting for kids to get out of school, I de ided to FINALLY fix these vents! Didn't have much on me but had a screwdriver, needle nose and a rubberband. Got mine fixed! Thank you! Hate the floppy cock vents!

Used the screwdriver to pop the vent out. Used the needle nose to snip the rubberband and the tip of the needle nose to make a tiny hole to fit the little nub over. Perfect! And I was going to throw this rubberband away!

My jeep is older so they just turn to the right and slide out. But the fix WORKED!!!! $2 for 6 grommets, I have 2 spares. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!😀😀😀😀🙋‍♀️👩‍🔧

This Video Saved me $145.00, my two center Air Vents were extra mega loose, super annoying!!!!! I did it on my Jeep Rubicon 2007, the air vents come out by twisting them instead of using a flat screwdriver, but the Rubber Washers worked like magic! It's perfect and you can't tell at all that something was done to them to fix them. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!

Instead of a washer I used those tiny little rubber bands for ur hair ! It worked great and didn’t need to buy anything !

If you close all vents, put the a/c on the maximum velocity and spin this vent, it will start to spin very fast

My line doesn’t line up at the bottom. When I rotate the vent with the line down, the hole is at the bottom not at the top
