I watched the entire interview and it was great. I didnt know much about Jeezy, but its obvious he him Jeannie trauma bonded over a shared experience. They didn't get to know each other, Jeezy is gaurded which makes sense why he is so private with his life and why he would have safety concerns for his daughter and family. Jeannie probably didn't understand that, and thats where her not being submissive or letting him lead came into play. When Jeezy was speaking about healing himself and inner child it does come across as though in this journey its made him a bit selfish. Everything was about him and how he has to put himself first, which makes me think he is unable to give his partner enough grace to grow. The only time someone will give complete disclosure is when love is completely out the window and I know it would hurt me either way but of course the difference is that honesty leaves no questions and lets you move on alot quicker. We all do it to ourselves to hold on for whatever reason. I have a new standard for myself and people I choose to have in my life… Is this someone I would want my kids to be like or to date? I feel like those two got together to increase their popularity and media attention. Especially him. He did not love her for her. He loved her for what she could do for him. If he is a Jesus Christ-following man, then he is called to love his wife like Jesus loved the church. Jeannie married Jeezy, a rapper with assault, drug, weapons charges, with 4 baby mamas, and 6 children he only sees a couple of times a year, if at all. He used Jeanie for the media attention and for street cred. She is not a good picker.

I have a huge beautiful asian family. We are so close and love each other so much. It’s a blessing to me and my husband. My husband say it all the time that he is not used to having so many people getting along with each other. Jeannie, if this part is an issue with your relationship then girl move on. Sometimes it’s easier to just let it go. Not worth holding on if the other person is no longer is trying. Girl, you are strong. Heal. Do it for your daughter. I have two beautiful daughters. The only reason why I am still trying to make this relationship work is because my husband has not given up on us. My kids mean so much to me. My husband ever gave up on this marriage and I am happy to let it go. As long as both parties are happy and co parents.

I totally agree with you on not moving forward with marriage if some undesirable signals were noticed during dating. But unfortunately, all to often people switch up once they’re locked in on paper.
