The problem I notice is that, more often than not, is the entitlement mentality of kids and teens raised around money or of money, and I know if I had a lot of MONEY, and my children wanted something that I could easily afford it would be hard to tell them no hence encouraging the sense of entitlement which later becomes spoiledness and rebellious when they finally hear NO told to them.

I don’t think I have ever seen a black man communicate as clearly as Jeezy. What I mean by that is, the ability to be open, honest, vulnerable, say exactly what it is etc. this is inspiring. I also remembered seeing comments about this so-called chemistry between him and Nia. I watched this entire interview, and what I saw was simply two grown adults having a real conversation. I think the internet is always quick to stir up drama and make insinuations. Neither of them crossed any lines of flirting or anything. It was very professional and very real.

It comes out when we are talking to a woman who is unbiased,patient and understanding. Not someone downplaying our situations or our past . These are just a few of the reasons blk men who hold their feelings in.

MAN! This was a 🔥🔥🔥 conversation!!! Couple things, 1. Definite chemistry between these two and I am HERE FOR IT! 😊 2. I felt it in my SOUL when Nia said, “Some days I’m totally good. Other days I’m like this feels like So Much Work. And other days it feels like woman shouldn’t have to be this strong!!!! THRU AND THRU, that was a WORD!!!!!! Like Nia, the tears came before I realized they were there - that’s how much I felt that Word! 3. The dialogue really resonated with me personally! Thank you for that! 4. Lastly, There were so many statements that went DEEP. 🔥🔥🔥, thank you 🙏🏾 and I appreciate you both! 🥰

*One of the most important things that I have done as an adult is decide to look at my parents as JUST human beings. I’ve sat and thought about their stories, their trauma and their pain, the things they’ve told me and the things they may never tell me and it has helped me to understand that they are just trying to figure out life like me. We put them on pedestals because they are our parents but above that they are just human beings. I don’t have a great relationship with my dad, I could hate him for it but I don’t because I understand that people can’t give you what they do not have, for him to better than his own parents he would have had to make an active decision to do so and some people either don’t have the insight, the know how or the ability to see beyond their own pain, having a child doesn’t erase our parents trauma and I love MYSELF enough to not hate them for that.*
@vickyserr
@vickyserr 10 ай бұрын
I resonate 100% what you wrote, this is why I’m able for it not to affect me so much as an older adult. We don’t have a handbook on how to love or parent, I love my parents for the people they are, none of us are perfect. I’m ok with the decisions my mother made and I’m not bitter, my father is a whole different story however when I look at his childhood I understand how he is. You are right, self love is the most important thing, once we do this, we won’t look to anyone else to validate us.

Does anyone else feel the chemistry between them? Like two people finding themselves being open and honest with someone they realize they can trust and respect. This was such a genuine conversation, a healing experience and a growth experience for each of them.

Gurl, he's using her to rehabilitate his image and curry favor among Black women. Apparently, the latter is working 🙄

@@teresam5199Why do you think he needs favor from black women? Is it because his marriage with someone from another race didn't work out? 😂 If he was still married you would still be saying the same thing. In your eyes, he might have lost value but clearly black women still support him as they should. ☃️ 🌨️💪🏾

After sitting and listening intently, I can say, for me, this has been one of the most heartfelt conversations that I have witnessed, in my 54 years of life, and both sides were represented accurately. Thank you, to the both of you, for being so transparent and especially while dealing with life so intimately and openly, as you are right now. This is how we make change. ❤ ❤I LOVE MY PEOPLE❤❤ God's continued blessings.🙏🏽🤗

Completely speechless by the vulnerability of both of them. It was not an interview style which made it so much better but it was a conversation about life, maturity, adulting and forgiving. I'm in awe that had so many gems that people from all walks of life can relate to. I will be listening to it again and then sharing with others. Thanks for opening this door for those who desire to enter!!!!

❤Just remember that forgiving doesn’t mean that you have to return to that environment. Our loved ones won’t necessarily be on our level with spiritual & emotional growth. It doesn’t make you bad or void your forgiveness if you choose not to remain there.
