Jeff Beck can do anything he wants to collab with anyone onstage he hired to play his songs in my opinion he is one of the nicest and most supportive people ever! Besides, it's a STAGE SHOW. This isn't the studio recording he's not trying to show her up, he loves her, it's obvious and she wouldn't be with Herbie Hancock and others without Jeff. If I was in the crowd for this and saw the two of them double-teaming an instrument I would have really appreciated it for the ticket price. AWESOME!

He's BBF* with John McLaughlin circa his group touring with the 2nd Mahavishnu Orchestra, and previously his brain got hammered by the first three "real" MO albums. At some point, he notice that Johnny-Mac plays at his peak when there's somebody THREATENING him... hence he hires or co-leads with Jan Hammer, Stanley Clarke, Pino and Tal and Terry-B and Vinnie-C and Jenny-B... et ceteracet ed-et-cetera... these are not people you hire at union wages to lay back and thump a bit. Hmm. And it's almost like he _likes_ girls! Especially if they're gonna kick his ass if he DOESN'T bring the A-game! *(Buds)

I love how Jeff gives the cue to go onto the chorus around 1:16 and then Tal just keeps going and he looks around to her thinking 'hang on, what are you doing?' And then after the next couple of bars Vinny just instinctively leads her in with a couple of accented hits, and then bam - chorus. The amount of talent on that stage is amazing.

How cool -- there is real love and respect with these two -- I guess she is like Jeff in that he strives to approache his instrument anew every day -- he tries to forget that he knows how to play it. He is ALWAYS trying to find another way -- a wrong way, even - to do what he already knows . Fearless. And the song that Jimmy and Stevie Ray Vaughn used to play together was on a double neck strat that Charley Wirtz built them. The song was "Rude Mood/ Pipeline". The famously played it on the riverboat "President" at Mardis Gras in 1985. Stevie always referred to that as the best he ever played. Sometimes he would have to think about things as he was playing and other times it would all just happen by itself -- he would just flow with it. That was one of the flow experiences. I wonder if it might be the same for Jeff. You can just tell he is thinking of his two great friends when he plays "Little Wing". Blessings

Wonderful. I love these three together. I think Jeff Beck was a very evolved guy, for a Man born in his time. He didn't give a shit what age or sex you were. All that matters is that you had the chops. Most guys in bands are not like that. RIP, Jeff.

Terry Carroll, Muddy Waters said that " you can't be the best, you can only be a good 'un". She is definitely a good one, I will grant you that, although in my opinion I don't think she's quite on the same level of say Dave LaRue who plays in Steve Morse's band; or Colin Hodgkinson, who played with Jan Hammer , that's where I saw him twice on stage playing live, he just blew my mind; and he also played with Alvin Lee. You should look him up on KZbin.

Plus they were doing that double-team on that same track for like 2 years every show it's a planned thing not an impromptu thing and she's happy with it and agreed to it long before this show or even this tour. It's SHOWMANSHIP and she loves Jeff I've heard her say it a million times in interviews etc... What a pair! Don't change!!! In due course, I'd love to see her quickly grab an axe and bust out one of his riffs! But he's like 70 years old and is Jeff Beck! She's great, he's unreal.
