This song is an anthem for anyone who was awkward, different or just one of the unpopular people in high school. How many times did we wish someone would "skip the cover; read the book". Brings a tear to my eye.

Jeff, just wanted to tell you that we think your Canaan days was the best version ever. Great feeling and facial expressions. Superb all the best

I really love this song. It is so very honest and beautiful. Every time I watch this particular performance though, I can't help but picture it being sung by Kermit the Frog. I mean that in the nicest, most complimentary way for who was more honest, vulnerable, and adorable than Kermy? Looking forward to the off off Broadway sensation, Kermit Comes Out ;)
